Should we just get rid?

Personally I think we should. Not because I'm bothered by the things he says but because I'm concerned for all members of this forum.

We've had a lot of new members join recently and hopefully they will tell their friends of us and more new people will come.
If they look in and see all this nonsense with COC going on they'll be more likely to go away.

Also with existing members, I know COC has given us a lot of entertainment over the past few days but eventually it will become very irritating to constantly see his drivel on here and people will sooner or later just drift away. I really don't want that to happen.

I've seen this sort of thing happen before on forums and chatrooms. Someone like this comes along and it's all very exciting and dramatic at the start but very quickly it becomes very, very annoying.
This kind of thing can destroy forums such as this.

So I think it's best we just dump him now. I've spoken to Mr. Hobbs and I know he doesn't like banning people but we've agreed to hold a poll to see what everybody thinks.

This thread will be made "sticky" so it won't get lost in all the hubbub and even if you vote 'No' you can always come back at a later time and change your mind.

Vote wisely. The fate of Mr.COCface rests in your hands.

I don't like it when anyone speaks about the rape of my kids its is incredibly offensive.. we have had arguments before but not threats and it feel like a threat or a wish when he says it... it is unacceptable in my mind

I'd rather he go- I have not voted yet... I'm thinking about it a bit longer...

Being new here I'm not certain how valid my viewpoint/vote would be,however I would vote him out/off due to the offensive and threatening remarks he has posted.

Everybody is entitled to their viewpoint but in my book nobody is entitiled to throw abuse in the manner he's doing.

He has used threatening and offensive remarks against people and clearly is not here for the purpose the forum was set up for.

I think he's a bully and should go. There is always the probability he will re register under a changed email but by keeping him here it could appear you are accepting of him.

He's offensive only in the way he sticks to one subject. If he could see past his blinkered view of religion then maybe it would be different, but I think he's only on here for this purpose, and I feel that he's been on other paranormal discussion sites and caused such pandemonium that the sites closed down, due to the abusiveness that ensued.
People like him are only waiting for the little white van and the men in white coats & the straight jacket any way !

Might I also point out that incitement to religious hatred, making death threats and threats to life and limb, as well as advocating harm to anyone's relatives is now a serious crime, which CoC could be arrested for. I gather it carries a long jail sentence with it.

Therefore, he must understand that if he continues in this vein, he WILL be reported to the police, and they WILL prosecute. He is NOT immune, and he WILL be found.

Raymond's points are totally valid, and I agree, CoC should be kicked out on his sorry backside asap, before he does any serious damage and scares away any new and potential members of this site.

Obviously I shall be voting to get rid. Enough's enough.

That's the other thing I meant to say, even though COC is a bit of fun his rants are gradually getting more and more spiteful.
Yesterday we even saw personal attacks, he called Sheela a 'slut', EG a 'prostitute' and quite frankly his homophobic attacks on me are just about getting on my nerves.

If we allow this joker to continue I think eventually it will just decend into personal attacks going back and forth (actually, we do that to him already), and nobody comes here for all that nonsense.

Sounds like a bit of a psychopath to me. A police psychological profiler would be in his element with this one! I wonder if CoC's got a criminal record already? Wouldn't surprise me. I reckon he's a loner who fantasises about doing unspeakable things while quoting from the Bible. He doesn't carry out his fantasies (as far as we know) so posting them here is the next best thing for him. I think he needs putting away for his own good and the good of society.

I am big enough and ugly enough to be able to handle being called names.
If I refuse to own the words sent my way they will not cause me any problems

I did try sending healing thoughts his way, but I don't think they worked.

CoC does seem to be getting worse in his attitude and outbrusts towards our members, therefore for the sanity of all of us who are mothers and maybe grandmothers, he should go.
