We revisited the Walthamstow flat and enjoyed once again the hospitality of an East London family.
Anne was a little reluctant to go at first as she felt that there there was nothing to investigate. I felt that there was a lot to investigate as I do not feel that there has to be a ghost or ghoul hiding in every residence we visit but rather there will be a reason for people contacting us.
We cannot expect the inexperienced to understand the difference between cause an effect, and a poltergeist. Whichever it is they need help.
We heard how following our visit it had been perfectly quiet in the family home on the first night. This had not happened for a very long time.
However on the second night the sons room had become very active and according to him the worst night ever.
When we arrived we learned that the mother had been in touch with a radio DJ who had told her that there was the spirit of a little boy in the flat. Apparently the little boy had died in a fire. He also said that the son was being haunted by the spirit of a sister that he had in a previous life. Apparently he had treated the sister badly and this was why she had followed him into this life.
My feelings were that Anne's instincts, that there was nothing in the flat were partly correct depending on how you view a poltergeist case. I always look at the people for the answers.
Having thought about it I consulted with Anne and we both agreed that we should "regress" the son. I have a method that I use that I feel is safe and non hypnotic.
The son agreed to go along with the experiment and so we began. He was a good subject. I took him back but there was no signs of a "previous life". Suddenly within his visualization he was being attacked by a young boy. The boy was hitting him. I new that this young boy was in fact himself and this gave us the lead that we needed. He was, it seemed, causing the activity himself. His low self esteem was in fact manifesting into the material world around him.
I know that this can all be challenged but I have seen enough over the years to have confidence in my instincts.
I explained to the young man as best I could what was happening and gave him some instructions on how to deal with the problem. I feel that he is an intelligent lad and that he, with a little effort will win through.
After we held a circle with the whole family and did some work but none to do with the poltergeist. The area is active and you could have a circle every night if you wanted.
This case is interesting to me as it shows how we affect our lives through our subconscious.
well I I know that when my energy is irratic my house is alive so it doesn't at all suprise me....
I do some regression work with dreams I'd love to hear how you regressed him .. I know that is hard on here but my mind is keen and imagining lots of things...LOL
I hope he works on this, low self-estem can be a real buggar to deal with..
I kind of want to know how the father reacted.... ???
also the radio DJ how did that link in.... did it make it worse or did it give them some hope??? interesting that you both picked up a boy but more interesting how different the information was

this has been a most enjoyable read and interesting to see how you worked with this.
I worked alongside a parnormal team with a family who were experiencing similar things to the Walthamstow family in a small village near to hay on wye castle, Hereford and most of what they were experiencing was through poltergeist activity.
One family member who was under great stress was manifesting this phenomena due to health and emotional issues. The family was in a crisis and helping them to understand what was happening due to their own thoughts and actions has helped greatly. There were spirits present with in the house, it dates back to the 1300's and many layers of energy and the house is also on converging energy lines but this wasn't the issue.
The family are jeahova's wittnesses and their church had told them that they couldn't help them and they had a demon in the house, through their failure in their beliefs.
I have treated both husband and wife with reiki treatments for their health and emotional states together with helping them to help themselves and a new understanding of what the power of the mind can do.

They then gave several groups some basic information on the haunting and asked them to contact the spirits in various ways.
They did this and retrieved all the information that had previously been created.

This has been done before. I read it up in a Colin Wilson book in the 70s
It begs the question , what is real ? If a ghost can be invented what else do we manufacture in our minds? It is highlighting the concept that we can affect all that is around us simply by what we are thinking.
