It seems to me that Essex is a particular hotspot for paranormal activity, there are absolutely oodles of paranormal clubs etc from the county.  Is there a reason for this?

Does Essex lie on some kind of lay line (not sure entirely what a lay line is though).  Or are people in Essex just more tuned in?  Another reason?

Most people who live in Essex are eastenders with money (tell me I'm wrong Hobbs!)

Essex does seem to have a very colourful paranormal history and it's associations with witchcraft seem only bettered by Cornwall.

It's probably to do with money though. When they were poor and lived in the eastend they were constantly worried about how they were going to buy their kids McDonald's and fags, now they've sold the cab and have a bit of dosh they have to have something else to worry about.

Well I really don'y know why apart from the fact that this part of the world has always been steeped in witchcraft for ever.

In days gone by the Essex coast was not the easiest place to explores as it is divided by many rivers and creeks and must have been very isolated.

I think that witchcraft in it's essence is in the very land itself and if you choose that path then all that has gone before is only too happy to rise once again to the surface both in the physical and in your consciousness.

Raymond, come visit me and we shall go to Canewdon.  Withcrafts very essence is there.

As for having a few bob well yes I do but not a lot, just enough and that will do after a lifetimes graft.

Plus the attitude of mind and craft, and all the rest of the bollocks tells me that as you think so it becomes and so it has been for me at least.

 It is just a game.

Essex has a lot of important history......colchester is the oldest roman town....and the thames estuary has been the major route for other invaders like the angles saxons danes etc..........it has also been a haven for smuggling.......

but i doubt if it has any more esoteric action than elsewhere.

Cant see why having money will make an area more Paranormal!!!

Essex has a lot more history than some other parts which could lead to more activity but I dont think it is any more paranormal than other places in the UK such as York and Cornwall etc.
