I am learning the deeper meanings of these threads as I go along and I have found, as I am certain that you will have, that understandings come in a flash and although those outside of you may seem to understand, and although you have a handle on things intellectually you do not KNOW them until that sudden awakening moment when yet another small realisation comes to you.

(Thread) I let go the shadow and embrace the self.........

First I realised that we are all experiencing our very own unique
lives. This is obvious.

As I look through the back door of my home into the garden I am seeing something, and feeling something that no other human can ever see or feel or ever shall. That second in time is not repeatable to anyone else,it is totally unique.

I live in my own universe and all around me is the shadow.

For instance............

Here you are in this life going about your business and experiencing your very own unique experiences.

In this moment, the only one that there is, you are self.

Then you meet someone and perhaps after a while you grow fond of them and perhaps even fall in love.

Then they leave you or perhaps they die and you are alone.

Both events bring pain and sadness.
So what has happened here?

You have placed your life outside of the self and built it upon the life of something that is not the self but something or someone who is totally living their own experience exactly as they should, but you have bought into their experience and anything that they do or say, any act will from that time of buying in affect you.

All that is outside of you is the shadow.

That is not to say never fall in love or mix with others,or live outside of society because at the end of the day we are all from the same source and we are all one, there is no seperation between anythig within the source, but rather do things with the awareness that you are you and you must realise that attachment is always going to lead to unhappiness. Love is one thing and atachement is quite another.

I don't know if I have put my thoughts across very clearly as my thoughts usually come in the form of feelings.

This of course is old stuff but it is totally new when you realise it for the first time your SELF because in each individual universe every experience and every thought and every deed is always, always for the first time, it can never ever e repeated or copied or even truly rememberer. It is of the moment and of the self.

Anything that is not, is the shadow.

So that's me, David,Saturday and about to varnish the back gates again.

What is the shadow? but that which is formed devoid of light.

What is the light? that which emanates.

Hello sam it's good to see you back.

Yes life in the material gives an exact guide to life in the non material.

Very handy really because material explains all and is far easier to see than the non material.
