I find it hard that Bernard Heuvelmans, a reknowned crypto-zoologist could get this SO wrong !

I've got a very strong gut feeling this is a hoax.

What gets me is the artist's impression, supposedly of a Cro-Magnon man, when the drawing is so obviously that of a Neandertal.  Cro-Magnon people were the first modern humans, who looked exactly like us.  The artist has drawn a stereotypical 'cave-man', so the description 'Cro-Magnon' is entirely erroneous. He didn't know what he was drawing about!  This to me all spells 'hoax'.

The lengths some people will go to in the name of notoriety and profit!
