Dave;;;

ive alwys had a close feeling for the wolf,if i hear its howl it brings tears to my eyes and effects me in a big way. My totem animal is the white wlf
and  my wiccan name is  CATHALL WOLF which means mighty or  great warrier wolf.

Many of my close friends have connection with wolves aswell,in fact i was working with a medium in Australia last year regarding missing children and a pedo ring there and she claims during a difficult time for her she saw a white wolf with her for a brief time during a reading she was given.

In deep meditation i have seen my wolf take me to the under world to a large forest where i could hear many other wolves but could not see them,i felt safe there and he then took me out of the tunnel into the light of this world and came with me.It was a special moment for me indeed.

Wolves have had a raw deal in history by man,we should study and learn from them not try to kill them. There was a fiolm of a guy who gave up everythng and went to live in a wolf pack  which i recomend anyone seeing,cant remember its name but it was areal documentary.

There are some folk who also feel as i and belive themselves to have the wolf within them also,you have only to look at the indian to see the respect and closeness he had with his brother the wolf.

That is very interesting Chris.

I had four animals come to me in circle work and one was a wolf to my left.

Any idea what it means?

the wolf represents many things loyalty being one of the things and could well be a guide perhaps,maybe you feel drawen to them.? or maybe you have another that you feel a closeness too.

He represents the after life  ,freedom and is a spiritual teacher dave..

My totem animal is the fox which I'm happy about but people always say they see a cat around me.

Even when people are drunk (when their barriers are down and they are more open to psychic suggestion) even people who aren't usually psychically sensitive always see a cat hanging around me.

When it's described it doesn't sound like one of my former pets. People always say it's a black and white cat but I've never owned a black and white cat.

What do you think?

It was weired the way my animals turned up.  I had never heard of totem animals and one night in circle we all began drumming, none of us could drum of course but it sounded great.
A Bear came in front of me and a Mountain Lion to my right a Wolf to my left and a Buffalo behind me.

Really odd.

Not at all odd if you're a Native American!
you can find out what your totem animals' meanings are with this link David.

Thanks Raymond,I didn't think you'd read it as I know you don't go in for links much.
I usually only post a link when the article is too long to put on the thread.

I do sometimes read links if I think they will be interesting. Stupid links that waffle on and on about aliens takin gover the world or the government trying to kill us all are the ones I tend to avoid.

My totem animal is the fox. It was interesting what it had to say.

that was sooooooooooooo funny dave!!!!!

+++++++++++++

i used to undertake shamanic style journeys.....

i was always accompanied by a very large snake!

during other meditations i often used to get a feeling of having a uraeus on my head......it is the egyptian  crown/head ornament..........a snake!

at other times i have felt kundalini energy rise up above my head.........
this snake is enormous with a head about 3 feet long!

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
i haven't meditated for ages so i have no idea what relevance the snake has for me...........

in real life i had some fool photographer in thailand shove a ten foot long python around my neck..........i wasnt very happy!

It will be the animal you find you are drawen to for some reason or indeed may be more than one.

You may recognise triats of yourself perhaps with it,feel emotional when you see one or they may be attracted to you. It can be different things to different people.

Gordon smith [MEDIUM] has birds of prey he claims in time of worry and stress he can look to the sky and will always see one,i can go along with this as i also have similar ie the BUZZARD too.

Well then my favs are dogs, owls (simply love them!) & elephants. No idea about my totem but I would like to have an owl, at the moment I have a small owl on my desk at work, picture frames and notebooks with owls. Big Grin

And Raymond, I was amused to read that your totem animal is fox as foxes are carriers of rabies. Is that why you are so scared of rabies??? Big Grin  :P
