It's the residual trace elements refracted around your physiology that leaves an optical illsuion of a shadow _________________ I give you, the Waffle King
If the shadow exists as a "lesser part" of ourselves, then the light that we come from would be the "greater part" of ourselves.
We it would seem are piggy in the middle.
With will and effort we can explore all three and perhaps grow to understand what we really are.
Those of you who have felt the light will know this and we strive for the light, but we are light, physical, and shadow so should we explore and seek all three in equal proportion? _________________ Please visit our main site
Light and darkness are concept to give form to the physical. By exploring all three, we understand the form, and also that which forms our concept of light and dark.
It is often the same thing.
Just as pure potential and chaos are the same thing seen from different perspectives.
Back to basics please.......what is dark and what is light?
Very good question and almost imposible to answer because once again the distinction between 'light' and 'dark' are pretty much up to the decision of the individual.
To put it very simply, some people are seen as 'good' people. others are seen as 'bad' people.
To my mind both are out of whack and neither will find true balance.
True balance comes from being an equal measure of both. Then things work.
It's why nature works so incredibly well because over time it has found it's balance. Both loving and cruel all at the same time.
I agree that it is difficult for an individual person to achieve such things but with a little thought it is possible to balance out your "bad" bits.
That's why I don't generally accept the woolly notion of Karma. In my experience, so called "bad Karma" only happens when a person is out of balance.
It requires more than that because it is simply not possible.
You think so?
Perhaps for a brief time we stand between the worlds and as you know Raymond that is a place of power and stillness but 99.99999% of the time we do not.
So I understand what you mean but to most it is impossible, and to some it is fleeting, to the Avatars it is permanent. _________________ Please visit our main site
I wasn't talking about Nirvana or perpetual states of bliss or anything like that. I was referring more to ordinary, everyday actions.
To me, people who come across as too 'positive' are just as out of balance as people who are too 'negative'.
Being too 'good' is just as wrong as being too 'bad'.
Next time you swat that fly for buzzing around and annoying the hell out of you, balance it out by leaving a few seeds out for the birds.
You took one thing from nature so pay her back by giving something back.
When you live in balance amazing things happen. Understanding the laws of nature and living with and not against it's cycles and rhythms is the only way to a charmed life.
Never mind the "will of God", apart from being a load of crap most of it is man-made anyway.
Concern yourself more with learning the will of nature.
The same thing from the same source but with all to human interpretation placed upon them.
Both are illusions because they are not the whole.
Yep. so what was the question?
If its all down to interpretation, perspective, why not just see the darkness differently, and hoorah, no "nasty" implications?
No difficulty, no strength needed. Just a decision.
