Where did I come from

The one question most want answered is this.

What happens when I die.

Perhaps we should ponder the question.

Where did I come from, and in that find the answer.
swanlady

I was created by my mum and dad.
When i die, once again i will be with my mum/dad and get to meet my two babies.

I have no doubts about where i came from and what happens when i die.
I saw it for myself when my brother paul died from cancer.
I was hugging him, telling him i love and will miss him, and there right beside the bed was my mum smiling, waiting to take paul with her.
I was shocked as i had not seen or heard from my mum  since she died when i was seven.
I was shocked, not scared and also pleased as all my fears about what happens when we die left me.

I have memories of living on with people from all stages/periods of life I think I may go back and live there with them ..otherwise where are those memories from?

Why do you want to know?

Why does who want to know?

You, who asked the question

Sorry I didn't mean it as a question but more as a topic of debate.

The point being that the human race in general thinks more about what happens when we die, rather than what happened before they came into physical existence.

It highlights the fear of death and that fear colours most paranormal and religious beliefs.

I just wondered why we think less about where we come from than what happens when we die
meiah

I suppose we don't need to fear where we came from, we are already here.

To not know what happens next, disempowers us, we have no control over death, it is not (usually) a choice.

To fear the unknown is natural, although pretty pointless. We may be fearing a beautiful and wonderful transition, and what a waste of time that fear then becomes.

Personally, I am honestly not fussed about the idea of death, more the nature of my passing. I'd rather not go slowly and horribly, although that in itself may be preferable to a sudden shock.

Perhaps if we were aware fully of where we come from (apart from the simple biological process), then we wouln't worry about what happens next.

Again, I do not know what was before, if there was anything before, if the was a "meiah" previous to this.

But once again, are we limiting our thinking to a linear timeline?

Oh at last! A sensible post to this stoooopid thread!!!

See if you feel the same when you are told that you have six months to live

It is a stupid thread because it matters not one jot what happens when we pass.

I would still like to know where we come from though.

Actually I might only have four. I have to have surgery next March and there's a 50/50 chance I might go belly up.

Not a good thought of the day   . Nope, not time for that to happen, not yet! (Not a prediction, just a hope and a wish)
Raymond

Well, there's a sunny side to every situation.

If I do roll up I'll haunt the lot of you and at least you'll have something to talk about on the forum.
