Take your time with this one.

I feel as if I have fond memories of this place.
And at the same time I feel physically sick.
david hobbs

Does no one else want to have a go?
Sceptic Tel

Rosie senses a fire....
meiah

Is it in France?
meiah

Some connection to the crusades?
david hobbs

Meiah.

You are fishing.

I know that you can do this standing on your head.

Em, well maybe not but you know what I mean.

Go on have one last go. Let yourself go and then I will put you out of your misery. And all of the crafty beggars that have had a go and not put their findings on the forum.

Now when I look at it, I just want to put pointy bits on the tops of the towers and make it into a fairy castle (must be having a fluffy moment).

Still feels like there is a French connection. Still feels happy and welcoming.

Rosie asked me to add that she saw a Rapunzel type character in the building. Also a knight in a shining armour astride a white horse, carrying a shield blue in colour with two yellow swords crossing. She wasn't going to mention anything but when Meiah had her "fluffy" moment, she thought what the hell.....

She thinks that this may all indicate some sort of love story connection to the building....

I took this picture in France earlier this year.

This village was completely destroyed by the Germans as a reprisal for the deeds of the french resistance it the region.

It is a very large village and every man woman and child was rounded up and killed.

The building in the picture was the scene of an horrific massacre. The women and kids were crammed into the church and then the Germans threw in anything that would burn an set fire to it.

many of the Nazi soldiers were in fact Frenchmen from the Alsace region.

That is as ugly as life can get.

Oh as an incidental the Germans had the wrong village.

To visit this place is an experience you never forget. To see prams with bullet holes in them sums up the savagery of war.

Jeez :( :( :( That is horrific, very sad.

The truth about the location makes the fact that Rosie was wrong about the fairy tale but right about the fire seem of very little significance....

oh well I wonder I thought the last one I read that sceptictel put up was to do with fire... what a terrible thing for people to endure
meiah

It is very very sad.

ScepticTel, - does not mean that Rosie was wrong. Just means she picked up on another event, and one that resonates more with her. Really :)

og course meiah I think Rosie got it right totally .. Rapunzel was trapped in a tower too wasn't' she.... I guess that is what David means when he say just say what you see do not interpret it

please excuse my spelling I am tired :P
