Tintagel castle cornwallI will be visiting this lovely castle next week sometime while in Devon and will do a small DVD of it, also see what i can pick up on anything there, i might also visit Boscastle if it get the chance.

it was great. Loads of people there at that time of the year, would like to go back and do some filming when less people around. Mind you it was very very windy up there. Open to the elements. Great views all around.
mind you tintagle village was very interesting soem very old buildings and inns, worth another look some time.

I visted Tintagel and Boscastle when I was in Cornwall working at Bodmin jail in September. I found the village of Tintagel intriguing but didn't have time to explore more. Boscastle I found to be a place very spiritual, maybe because of how it lies within the wooded valley with the stream running down the middle to meet the harbour and the sea.
As a child I often visited Bourton on the water with my parents and for some reason it reminded me of the place.On buying a guide book for the museum it say's at one time the museum was at Bourton on the Water until 1960. The witch craft museum was thought provoking, how so many innocents were tortured in many cruel ways, there were also exhibits of a collection of items from Gerald Gardner.
The flood damage of 16th August 2004 has all but gone now and markers have been left on the wall in the museum to show just how horrific it must have been as well as damaging to the artifacts.
Well worth a visit to anyone when in the area.
