Time to put the garden to bed

That's what I have been doing.

Re-potting pruning digging and not looking forward to the dark nights and cold weather.
Kas

Same here although prunning turned in to chopping down two dead tree's, several saplings and bushes. Shortly followed by a trip to the doctors for a tetnus jab.
Theres something about chopping back. It's hard to stop sometimes!
Scott

I like the winter but only looking at it from inside in the warm. november and december are ok but once we get into jan and feb thats when i go out as little as possible. that's when i like to have someone to cuddle up to for nights in front of the telly
wackyjacky

Pfft, I wish I had a garden to prune!    Like Scott, I don't mind the winter but love it more from the inside... preferrably with a nice open fireplace
Raymond

Am I the only one who looks forward to the Winter? Winter is so much better than Summer.

What's wrong with you people?
Kas

Just cos you look better in a big coat.
Raymond

And you look better in a suit of armour, I must say.

Anything that hides the face.

Mwah!
Kas

There's nothing wrong with my helmet.
wackyjacky

   I'm saying nothing
Raymond

I know.

oooops! sorry, I promised I wouldn't say anything.

I love winter ...  our spring has been freezing not a day over 14 so far.. and not a day without rain.. so there are rain coats and the like..

I agree, Winter is better then Summer, but i'm crazy enough to walk around in a Tee-shirt in the dead of winter, and i never ever ever get a cold, fantastic
Raymond

No I don't do that. I dress for the season but I love going out in the cold.
Waffle King

Try it man, it's a fantastic feeling, once you get used to it
Raymond

No I think I'll pass on that Waff. I like being cold but don't much fancy having to carry my nipples home in a bag.
Waffle King

Ahhh, you've not lived since you've been bitten by Frost-bite
Raymond

I'll take your word for it Waff.
Hunter

Evergreen, don't forget it's Spring where you are now !!
