The veil is thinWell the veil is thin at the moment, or at least that is what they say.
I wonder if anyone has noticed.
I think it must be that darker nights lead to darker thoughts.
Or perhaps I shall be overrun with ghosts in the next few weeks.
I really do fancy sitting in circle again and I have no idea why.
Yup, It's the time of year.

The veil is thining, it is my thought that we are reaching an age that this realm and other realm will be connected.

What makes you think that they are not already connected Ares?

I am talking about other realms being connected ours. The veil is what seperates our realm from the other realms. I believe that people from other realms will be able to come into our realm.

The veil is at it's thinnest on Samhain (Oct 31st).

That is what I thought you meant so what makes you think that they are not already connected and able to come into our realm?

Why is it thinnest at that time? It is curious that is Halloween.

Haven't heard about the thinning veil in circles yet, but strangely the last month i'd agree. I put it down to my bloody malaria tablets which have given me many vivid dreams of late.
since Samhain and the little ouija dabbling we have a prescence in our house. Nothing malicious yet.
I tend to notice the thinning veil because I get lots of creative spontaneous insights and answers to phillosophical ponderings.
I have had in the past month two near OOBE's but I keep getting excited and snap back.

No not curious at all SR. October the 31st is the pagan festival of Samhain (pronounced SOW-IN).
It's when pagans recognise the true death of Summer and the Horned God.
Pagans believe that on that night the veil between the worlds is at it's thinnest and the spirits of the departed are free to return to our realm once more.
Many pagans honour their ancestors on this night with ritual and feasting.
As with all pagan festivals the church had to come up with something to replace it so they started calling it All Souls' Night.
Halloween is merely a modern expression of a very old festival.

Thanks for answering me Raymond and giving me new knowledge. I was only aware of Mexicans celebrating the day of the dead and I think that is on Halloween not sure if memory to working on that one though. I do know I feel more spirits on that day though.

It's very spiritual day of the year. It's sometimes a pity the true meaning has been lost in an ocean of tacky plastic masks and trick or treat.
