The Saxon KingWe have been invited to visit the burial site of a Saxon King soon to be covered by a lovely new bypass road.
The site was discovered recently and there is a camp built on it with people staying there who do not want the new road to go over it.
I think this will be an interesting exercise.
It is claimed that next to Sutton Hoo it is the most important Saxon find ever in the UK.

this site is adjacent to a lovely park and a medieval priory which is now a museum........the council want to cut down about 50-100 trees and ruin a great area to build a road which will not decrease congestion because there are roundabouts which cause bottlenecks in every direction.....
there was a vote in the local newspaper........it went something like this
votes for..7 yes seven
against 25,000...............
yet the council still press on(hows that for democracy?)
this road will cost £28 million plus(so double it because they always under-estimate(LIE)....and cause complete chaos for years......
how did we create this reality(insanity) ?
