Yes this has been a long standing problem.
When the old GHE split Ian made the website whilst I built the forum up.
The site is shite and I want rid of it and a new one in it's place. I am always staggered that this forum has done as well as it has considering that it is almost invitation only by word of mouth so to speak.
if anyone wants to build a website and join it to the forum under the GHE banner then feel free.
The connection to the forum is rubbish and I doubt that anyone could ever find us.
So what is the answer.
Jeez I just gave Bravo the perfect technospeak opportunity

The answer lies in the questions I posed.
Those questions are the first questions a designer should be asking. Answer those, and we can see where it takes us.

Mediums
Those who have lost loved ones.
People who are experiencing hauntings
People who would like to participate in ghost hunting

They wish to communicate with ghosts or ghost hunters
They need help perhaps in a haunting

As often as they needed to or wanted to. If there is something new to read, they would go and read it.

They get the contacts they seek.

Perhaps commercial/fund raising. Site shop, pay to participate in events. More people turning up to events.
Greater awareness
A larger community
These are just my initial thoughts, but the more work put into this stage the more successful a website will be.
