Some of you may be familiar with the goings on at the place myself and Mel live. Just to remind you of the background it was built in 1840 and is the gate house or porters lodge to the Billericay Union Workhouse.

I won't go into much detail but a cloud has been over me for a while now. I have not been too well and have been fighting a medical problem that has troubled me for most of my life. I can go years and be fine but occasionally the illness returns and tips my life upside down. I guess you could say i have been quite depressed.
During this time strange things have started to happen in the gate house again. It seems that the more upset and distressed i am the more things happen and has naturally begin to make me feel i am the cause of it.
My late mother was a cat lover and like many cat lovers had many cat ornaments about her house. When she died i kept them and a few of them are in the gate house now. One in particular is a small black cat that sits on my bedroom windowcill. Maybe because it's connected to my mother i have always felt a kind of protection from it. Lately it has started to move. I always place it facing in the room but at least a dozen times in the last month we have found it facing out. Obviously i have checked for vibrations and anything else that could be responsable. But i am quite sure it is moving on it's own.

Several times recently the 3.33am thing has happened again. We wake up at night and it's always 3.33am. Yes i've checked for trains etc. In fact last night i was lying in bed thinking and after a while i sat up. I looked at the clock and again it was 3.33am. Quite alot of odds against that. We have both also seen figures at the windows looking in, when we look again there is no one there.
My uncle also died over the weekend. Although i loved him very much i have not been upset by his death. Maybe more relieved that he didn't suffer to much after being diagnosed with lung cancer two weeks ago.
I have noticed though that my psychic abilities have heightend for some reason. I am aware of things around me. They seem clearer than before. I don't think this is connected to my uncle though. We both have started to have bad dreams as well. Mels being quite upsetting for her.
Something happen last night that hasn't happened to me for along time. Since i sat the psydip course with Meiah. I started hearing voices. I always used to wonder how mediums that heard voices knew that it wasn't just their imagination? When it happened to me before i was quite sure it wasn't my imagination. It was almost like an inner sense knew it wasn't. It felt so natural. Last night it happened again. I was quite clearly awake. I have a terrible memory but it was an arguement. Strangly because it wasn't derected at me i wasn't bothered by it. I was just a witness, and the conversation somehow made sense to me and my surroundings.
Just thought i's share.

I wonder if our psychic senses are heightened during emotional times in our life. Maybe when we feel vunerable we lower our barriers a little and allow things we would normally shut out to creep in?

Kas, let the cat face outwards. Dunno why, I just have a feeling that its keeping an eye out, so let it.

I have found that when I have a lot going on (or if I am focussed on something) I tend to think less. When I think less, I don't get in the way of myself. Maybe thats what is happenning here.

I also feel that when two people are naturally entrained to each other, what affects one will affect the other........ thats the good things too

. So wonderful.

I am sorry to hear about your Uncle. You are right.

After taking the photo yesterday morning, i went to work and left it facing in the room. This bothered me all day and i decided as Meiah said to face it back out when i got home. It obviously wants to face that way.
When i got home it was already facing out again.
I think i'll leave it that way now.

Any more goings on going on at the gate house

Funny you should ask.
Mel woke up in the middle of the night and saw a figure standing at the bottom of the bed. She thought it was me and asked what i was doing. She then realised i was asleep next to her and the figure vanished.
As she lay back in bed there was an almighty crash which woke me up as well. When we turned the light on a load of stuff had fallen off the top of the waldrobe next to where she saw the figure.

You know what... Has taken me a while but Im starting to think it might be too... lol

Not that it bothers me in any way, I love our little house, and it would take a lot to make me feel any different.
I was more terrified by the size of our electric bill !!
