I got rather weirdly, a feeling of 'creaking' and 'not belonging'...though the not belonging was more with regard to the chair than to the chest.
I suppose, given the amount of wood there that creaking would be a natural thought, and don't know where the not belonging came from...but you did say to put what occurred and that is what occured lol

'The chest belonged to Cunning Murrell the south Essex cunning man. He was held in high esteem for his healing abilities. He did live near to the tames Esuary so their is a good chance that the chest came from a ship. Creaking timberes etc.
