Terrible dream!I rarely have bad dreams, but I had one last night that scared the life out of me.
Fittingly enough for this forum, it was a dream that Most Haunted had created a new advert. It was in black and white (even though I always dream in colour) and there was a very scary Boris Karloff lookalike (but a hundred times worse) and he was wearing a long cape. He walked towards a tall set of rusty white doors and threw them open to reveal two corpses hanging by their heels from the ceiling and (this was so horrible) they had been sliced open as if they were animal carcasses. I won't go into graphic detail but everything was on show and I could see it very clearly. Laying on two gurneys under these hanging corpses were two living people looking up at the bodies and they looked terrified. Then the Boris Karloff creature turned around with a big grin and shut the doors again.
And then the Most Haunted logo came up.
I haven't watched any Most Haunted for a long time (I dipped into the Hallowe'en Live programme when it was on in October but nothing since then) and I haven't watched any horror films for ages.
It's interesting that some people say dreams are just your mind sorting through the day's events, but I can promise you Boris Karloff and nasty mutilations are a little outside of my remit. 
Any suggestions what this little diamond of a nightmare could have been about?

When it's said the mind is 'sorting through the things of the day' that doesn't mean literally.
It's sounds to me as if there's something not very pleasant you're not facing up to - something needs attention but you're not doing it because the outcome could be a little scary.
I always think the dreams that stay with you for a few days are the ones trying to tell you something.

I can't think of anything I'm not facing up to. Things are ticking along quite sweetly at the moment. Touch wood.
Actually, I do need to shave my legs and that's a bit of a scary prospect...

I actually get the impression that people you care about have things they need to face up to not so much you - in this process I feel you shall be a by stander....
do you have children .. and how old???? hope that is ok to ask..but I felt the urge

Actually, a relative of mine is undergoing some heavy medical treatment right now and the nightmare did have medical undertones (gurneys and disected bodies) so perhaps there could be a link there.
No, no kiddies.
