SurvivalDo you have a story to tell about personal proof of survival.
If so let us hear from you.
This picture was drawn by a psychic artist in a spiritualist church.
I had never seen the artist before and as I was late that night she had already started drawing the picture before my arrival.
She walked down the hall towards me and said "this is your nan"
And believe me it is my nan who had passed twenty years or more before this event took place.
I was not thinking of her and have no idea how this can happen.
Is it proof of survival? or something else.

that is a great story David.. I ask myself this question often .. I dont' worka s a medium to prove life after death... or survival as you call it I work as a medium because spirits come to me to make contact with people. What do you call proof? I can share some stories one at a time to be fair on everyone and thus not hog the thread.
* A young woman came to me for a clairvoyant reading but firstly before I could get started at all I got (saw) a young male with her a brother I thought~ he showed me him passing in a car crash and told me it was raining and he had had a few drinks but could not avoid the car the came head on and he dies instantly.. he then showed me him coming out of his body and watching the scene of horror unfold beneath him.. I went on to describe the funeral and then his house and things he had given his sister and his mother and lots more as it went on for over an hour... needless to say these things are rather moving for all involved including me as I feel everything the spirit goes through.. but one thing that may prove it was him and not reading her energy was that she and her family were not in the same country as him when he died and were unable to get to his funeral in time.. thus all the details of that were not known to her. In fact she could not verify lots of the reading at that time
I have since read for others in the same family (they live in another counrty and come when they visit Tassie) and he always comes through to give some details of what they are doing the lastest one was interesting ~that his mother is wearing his slippers all the time now and that she talks to his photo that is placed on the wall between to large photo when you first com ein the front door and she leaves his place set at the table all the time during meals.... He also showed that there is a letter that is behind the chest of drawers that he wants them to find and read it is important to him that his mother find it.. When they return to Malaysia they are to let me know if they can find it..
Now before anyone thinks I am blowing my own horn .. I believe all mediums work like this although I have not had the pleasure of seeing or working with any yet.. does it prove life after death ?? not sure but this one has me saying yes rather than no because his sister knew nothing about the details of his passing it was so rescent and she had been unable to speak about it with her family due to the grief they were feeling and also some cultural cutoms that make this difficult for them

David have you ever felt someone coming or know the name of someone before you have met them.. or perhaps known that you were going to meet someone that would affect your life that day???

Lurching back to topic (sorry), I have a question (sorry again  )
What do you mean by survival?
There is a reason for this question. During our time, I used to talk to my Dad about most things. He was the one that I called. Now, when something amazing happens, good or bad, I still have that urge to share it. And I know in myself what he would say. I can still take advice from him.
And so to me, that is proof that he lives on in/through me. Its not the same, perhaps, as what Evergreen is talking about, or your example of the picture, but is it any less real as proof?

to me it is the greatest form of proof you can ever have.. a likeness in a relative, hearing words that means so much to both of you or the feeling that they love you forever.. they are powerful things that someone you love can create forever.

I really did meet these people. Or should I say I saw them before I met them.
What's a dag..I may wish that i had not asked.

I have never been called cute before. Well not by anyone who knows me
So how is it possible to see into the future. By definition the future means things to come.
This again is a phenomena that is not explainable in everyday terms. Well not that I know of.
As a reader you will know that you predict the future on a regular basis. So how does that work. I am a lousy reader and even I have accurately predicted the future and hated to do so. It is the one form of psychism to me that has to be treated with the upmost caution.

I am not really sure how you can see into the future and it is not something I have been totally comfortable with myself.... I am careful what I say yet I do slip up now and then as when reading things come to my head and I just say them..... Yet it does seem I am able to do it... I preferr to do readings that focus on working things out and helping the sitter that rather than foretelling what the future holds for them :)
What is your theory on it David??? can you just see things that are set ??? can we see things that are already in place... ??? why are they in place
