Try for a government subsidy. They are giving away bucket loads at the moment. Just tell them you are a wa...banker.

See you do like helping people, especially the aged.

Ahhh, I believe in helping the aged. All that time you spent in the trenches fighting for my freedom. It's my small way of saying thanks.

Some people smile when they just have wind

I smile when I see the look on other people's faces shortly after I've broken wind.
Farting will always be funny! LOL!

Is that the look of dread at the noise of it, or the look of horror at the smell of it?
Do some people completely ignore it and thus frustrate you?

The last time Raymond passed wind they accused the Chinese of carrying out secret underground nuclear explosions.

Mine are normally the silent but extremely violent kind. I love doing them in cars because the smell lingers for ages! LOL!!!

Poor Swannys husband is now a confused man, but that is true of any man with a woman in his life.
The thing you are all missing is this.
When you smile that smile actually tells your brain that you are happy.
then you enter into the feeling, and you realise that happiness is literally just a smile away.
Do it properly and it works every time.

Have you been watching Julie Andrews films again Hobbs?
I must admit though, what you say is true. I often have little bursts of 'happy fits'. Something justs pops into my head and I'm smiling away like a buffoon.

Thing is that the people around you pick up on it and suddenly you are surrounded by smiles instead of frowns.
Just off to hug a tree.
I may be some time.

I'm not sure that would work on the early morning commuter train but I get your meaning.

Anyway it is best to smile, or even laugh for 10 minutes a day.
It's good for your health !

Try getting on the train with a big smile, cheery "good morning" and then smile to yourself at the confused people.
Or my personal favourite....pay for yourself and the person behind you at a toll booth.

Now that is precisely the thing to do.
Nothing soft or silly about it just common sense.
Don't blame the world blame yourself if things around you are miserable.
OK if you just lost a leg or a loved one you can have time out but the rest of the time the world is just a mirror for your own selfish emotional wallowing.
Phewww
Sorry bout that!!!!

I would love to see someone try that on one of my trains. They'd probably get stabbed.

Simple test of validity.
Smile at people when you speak to them and see how many smile back.

Smile at people you don't know, and see how many smile back.

Sorry EG, I am sure you do know this.
Sometimes we forget though. I did for about 4 months. When you know it, it is so obvious, but look around you, how many people actually do smile openly? When you remember, and see it afresh, its worth bringing into the open again. Humour me?
