Seperate or part of you?A thought.
Do you think that spirits are seperate from you or a part of you but seemingly externalised.
This may sound daft, and the answer could be that both things are correct or not.
We have all, or most of us at least, had spirit contact in one way or another, but was it something outside of ourselves or did it come from within?

good question.. we are all connected I think we can agree on that, BUT I have seen things that I don't think are connected to me or manifested by me....

good grief I knew you would ask that.....
so many things to say but hmm to narrow it down ... One example is I was talking to someone in their home I heard some foot steps approaching and the swish of long skirts behind me. I turned expecting to see the fellows wife only to find myself standing face to face with a female I could see through she said to me "I am Lucy" Stood with her hands on her hips turned on her right heel and dissappeared whom I have never seen before and have never seen again... did I manifest her??? I dont' think so.. the wife later showed me a photo of her great aunt Lucy  and I had never heard the term spiritualism
Did she appear via the ability of harnessing/using my energy hmm maybe?? It is a hard one to answer as with many things in this field it is up in the air until you pass yourself on this side much of it is guess work

Hmmm...I think it is a matter of levels.
They appear to be seperate, as they have no physicality and we do.

I like both answers. The jury is still out with me on one level but on another I would say they are a part of you because you are a part of them
