Last December Magi,after some lengthy discussion decided that she wanted a gold ring with an Amber stone for Christmas. I don't know if you have seen anything like that but I had not.

I spent days patroling the highways and byways and nothing.

With four days to go to Christmas I had just about given up. The I thought to myself "have you learned nothing" I went out in my car and drove aimlessly for about half an hour. Something in my head said stop here. No shops just houses. I started to walk and I just went where the wind and intuition took me till finally I reached a parade of shops.

Turn left and cross the road. I did. There in front of me was a jewelers and right in the centre of the window was a selection of gold and amber jewelry. I went mad and bought a bracelet to go with the perfect ring that was on display.

Sounds great and believe me it was.

Trouble is what the hell do I buy this year.

what about an amber pendant David.... you can buy them to wear with an existing chain she already loves... just a suggestion... happy hunting

I have always held it to be true that you can read a persons character by the style of present and cards they give to people.

Looking at the above posts I think I'd better watch the company I keep.
