Seeing double.I had a very strange experience today. Myself, the Mother and my youngest sister went to visit my other sister in Guildford.
I was sitting on the sofa watching TV. The living room has two doors, one that leads out into the hall and another that leads into the kitchen.
In front of the door that leads into the kitchen is the dining table. All the others were sat at the table talking.
As I watched TV I noticed my younger sister in the doorway of the door that leads to the hall. I didn't look at her, it was more 'corner of the eye' thing.
But then I heard her speak from in the kitchen. This made me look through the kitchen door to see her sitting at the table with everybody else.
I asked her if she had just been in the hall to which she answered no, and everybody else conformed she had not moved from her chair.
She had a very distinctive stripy, mulit-coloured top on so I knew I had seen her at the hallway door.
Is this what they call a doppleganger? - seeing the 'ghost' of somebody still alive.
Do any of you have any information on these apparitions?
