Real witchSome people say that they are a real witch. I wonder what a real witch is. Any ideas?

I think real witches are born it it has been in the familes for generations.
I might follow Wicca and call myself a hedgwitch but i would not call myself a real witch

Yes I totaly agree and it is not what they call themselves but what understandings they gain and the works that they do.
Does it matter if somethings have no name at all. As long as they work for the individual it must be a good thing.

Either that or they see what they are as normal and are willing to share their experiences. But I do know what you mean Sia.
Mediums have no problem declaring that they where born with the gift and people accept that. Perhaps their is a more a feeling of power with people who say that they are a real witch.
I think if they are they should say so and let themselves be judged by their words and deeds.

If you can't fight buy a big hat as my dad used to say.

i have been pondering on this for a while David.. you probably read somewhere that A witch is now reading in the shop where I read out of.. well she has decorated the room but has no clients thus far.. anyway I have decided to move on and not read with her....
What is a witch is what i want to know??? Is she different to me? She does tarot and spells.....

We are all an aspect of what I call the source.
It would seem that within the source lies all possibility and we humans act out our lives within certain aspects of those possibilities. Witch, shamen, medium etc are just names that we need in order to do what humans do. We have a need for labels.
At the end of the day we are all a part, a projection connected to the source. Our mind (for want of a better word) dictates which aspect of the source we choose to portray. We take on a belief system( and regardless of what you may think, you are not open minded) and that belief system manifests into this so called reality. The only thing that stops us doing or being anything is our own restricting belief system about what we percieve our "selves" to be.
A witch creates the world of a witch be they "real' or ego driven exhibitionists, and both are valid life patterns. the world of the witch is as real as anything else, but only to the witch.
You are living a lie.

No David it is not that I do not think she is what she is at all it is that I don't feel comfortable in that space... it isn't' nice to judge me because I choose not to work with this energy no matter what you may think .. I felt sick in the space that is why I am moving on.
I asked what a witch is because I am interested in learning because I felt I obviously don't' understand this enough otherwise I would be dealing with it better.. give me a go David I am not you nor will I ever be. I have my own things to consider my own experience and my own business that is my priority I have to provide for my three children (as no one else is) it is my job if I feel ill working in this space then it is sensible to not work there.. I could be a right closed minded so and so and demand she take it all down and work my way... hey but I would never consider that option.

I'm disappointed in myself to say the least I didn't think I would let the energy bother me.... but I have to honour me....
Your description of a witch is what I would use also .. Believe I have the ability of a witch in my own manner...so we are on the sama wave length this woman is advertising that because she is a witch she is more advanced .. more advanced than whom I wonder?? and I wanted to know if this is something that went with being a witch you have not confirmed this so I stand by my gut feelings and move away from a business that will more than likely go under with her...
And now I move to another place of work and this apparently closed minded woman ia able there to work with 8 other healers and readers..

The post was not directed at you. It was for anyone who might read it.
If you cannot work with someone that's fine, and good enough reason to change things.
Take another look at the post and read it, not as a personal letter but a general statement.
There is no need to feel bad about leaving a situation because you feel that you cannot cope with it.
You could learn to deal with it in about five minutes if you wished.
Anyway. I think that you were meant to move on and that you will find out that it was the correct thing to do.

What's a real Witch? What's a real anything for that matter?
I'm sure every Witch would give you a different answer to that question so I will attempt to answer it by saying what a real Witch is to me.
A Witch is somebody who can change and bend reality in accordace with will through the use of mind energy.
A Witch works in harmony and is aware of the powerful laws of nature.
A Witch sees the male/female duality in all things.
A Witch strives for balance in all he/she does.
I'm sure there's a lot more I could think of and as time goes on I will no doubt add to this list.
