I have seen David thompson... I have sat in circle with him and have seen him perform psychic surgery.
I enjoyed the psychic surgery more.... not the surgery bit but before and after spirit came through David whilst he was in a trance like state... His guide William and a few others.... we were invited to ask questions... this was cool... all these wonderful answers we could get from spirit... and what did I ask..... erm.... Will you, or do you have any plans to reincarnate? (I asked William)..... his answer..... 'not bloody likely!' I have written my experience of both if anyone is interested in reading them., I could post them up.. Is a physical medium?.... erm.... well I saw what looked like ectoplasm in red light.... I have done this work .. as I think a few here have too.... right guys 
I don't know if he is real or not .. it doens't matter to me if he is to be honest.... I know it can be done and I believe there are also frauds out there.... When I first started this form of mediumship I was told you should touch me or make a sound that is might kill me but I haven't found that to effect me in the least... though I have had the channelled tell someone off which was a strange to expereince as I had no recollection of the remark  I think it is important that we remain open minded and let people develop the ability the way it suites them (that is my experience anyway)

I did have a bad experiece with a new sitter once. He moved quickly while I was in trance and It felt like my guts had been ripped out. |

I really don't know so I will hazzard a guess. When a circle is working properly it becomes one unit with one mind and one goal and one energetic body. You become one. If a part of that one suddenly goes out of sync then it affects the whole or in this case the medium (heirophant) who is holding all things together. This is pure guess work on my part of course. In some way that must become linked physicaly too. There are so many things that are difficult to explain but that is as near as I can get at the moment. What do you think? |

I feel rather inadequate in offering my opinion as my experience is rather limited but here goes .....
I think that if you are doing medium work in circle (or any work for that matter), a disruptive energy can effect you when you are open... Something to do with joining energies and mixing them .... Though I haven't had experience of being harmed in channel or trance, for me I have a very strong belief that I can't be harmed - which may be totally stupid  but I have always felt taht I can create things with my thoughts so best to think and feel strong and protected. Do you think that makes any difference?

Yes true again...
Basically I decided to only bring through two vibrations or energies or spirits or whatever people want to call them... and most of my channellings are done one on one not in groups any more I have only ever seen one person channel once I think that is why I come on line to try and learn from others in this area.. |

I think it has to do with the energies too. It's important to have the right energy.. There was one instance when two sitters were asked to leave the circle because the medium felt their energy didn't mix well with the others in the room.
It is said if the electroplasm retracts back to the mediums body quickly it can have serious consequences as it acts like an elastic band and hits the medium with such a force. I will post my experiences up Mr Hobbs, I would like your opinion. Have you heard of Jean Skinner? Another physical medium. Jean does trance figuration in white light.... I never seen anything like it, she's fantastic, she is also a wonderful lady. love & light, Deb's. |

i have heard some wonderfull accounts of things happenin with this lady
we need (generally)to realise(and i no many here do) that it is a xperiment when this form of mediumship is taking place some people tell me she is wow but like all mediums,has off days |

Transfiguration is where a person's face alters to that of spirit. It's a bit scary to watch. Jean Skinner in my opinion is one of the best. What happens is ectoplasm forms over her face and a different face appears. I'll see if I can find some links so you can see what I mean. Mark would know he is a practising one I believe. I have seen a pic of mark in red light where you can see his face altering.... love & light, Deb's. x |

oh ok sshowing my stupids here I have experienced this myself but didn't know it had a name.. thanks you two. I know that photos were taken but the photos didnt' show up the changes in my appearance, any ideas why that might be?

Maybee some other force is behind some spirit contact,and a illusion is created,that is unique to the few people who see what they are having impressed upon them,like in telepathy
maybee some spirits dont have a "density" enough to show i did hear once that permission needed to be given from spirit to photograph,and a certain speed shutter etc with camera was needed |

If it is unique to some people then it cannot be physical mediumship by definition. Nothing physical is happening or it would be seen by all present. I find the idea of spirits giving shutter speeds a bit dubious to say the least. Sorry to play devils advocate here but none of this adds up to me. A sceptic would say that most of the things said by these mediums regarding what you can and can't do are there to cover up fraud and I must say that I would agree. |

yes i agree david,i was just sayin what i thought ,or had been told
if anything takes place ie overshadowing ectoplasm it is to be seen by all otherwise it also in my opinion hasnt happened i did once think it may be unique to some only but this surely isnt the case as for the speed shutter i was told this by an american ,who said it wwas what he was told i personally dont no much about cameras |

Yes by all present there were about 35 people there David.. Ididn't see it myself because I was channelling .. The story goes that a blue/indigo ray of light came over me from the top and behind. In this light a female could be seen and she appeared to over shadow my face while I channelled her. Having just said that it may be something all together different from what you guys have experienced or are talking about here. - Basically I know very little other than what I have experienced myself I found it interesting because I had channelled this same "person" many times and haven't ever been told that anyone has seen this before.. they did voice tape the session but none of the photo's came out I don't' know why.... |

Well Magi and I went for a reading as we were on our way to the wescountry on holiday. The reading was recorded and we played it as we drove along. Nex time we put it on, about an hour later, it was completely blank. Things like that are a regular event in the paranormal. |
