my samhainWell our 3rd degree went very well deep in the new forest saturday.
We were very lucky with the weather as last year i was bitter cold this year mlld and with a loveley full moon. The candles all managed to stay alight which was great along with the pumpkins etc on the Altar.
After our initiations we were each given a pentagrame signifying the 3rd degree aswell.We also asked the loved ones passed over to the summer lands to join with us and we all thought of those we have lost etc.
Ale and cakes followed which is always welcome and all the guys got a small bottle of special brew beer as a treat and the ladies some chocs which was very nice.
After a few personal spells were conducted and a protection one for a couple in the circle we all returned home having a good night.
