My human side?!?I have heard this statement so many times - and may have used the term myself in the past but it has got to the stage is drive me balmy...
you know when someone says ...- oh that is my human side that made me make that mistake.......
DO we not all realise that we are human in fact all of us each cell is human... I mean unless someone here is an alien or something or than human ....
I get the idea that a spirit comes from else where to experience a physical life - still that spirit is in every human I don't 'think there are any humans without spirits or an I missing that.....
now in that psychic show on tell here one medium (whom I do know) kept saying every time she made a mistake or got something wrong --- gee that is the human side of me trying to take over.... grrr talk about making psychics look like they are from another planet

"Spiritual people" have jargon just the same as anyone else.
So they can slag off other mediums, and do the things we all do, and say Ooppss, that was me being human.
Who do they think they are, SOMEBODY?
Well that to me shows what kind of human they are.

David I didn't think she meant it like that at all I think she honestly believes she has a spiritual side and a human side..... if that is her/their/others belief then that is okay.
have others come across this? is just me that thinks this makes the general population right to think we all might be mad

Yeah I've heard this as well.
Usually by 'psychics' who couldn't eminate thier mind power out of a wet paper bag.
Psychics and Medium do like to think they are 'special'. To my mind being a psychic or a medium is no different to playing the piano or writing a poem - anybody can do it with practice.
There's this one woman at my spiritualist church who asks spirit if it's okay before she does anything.
Anytime anybody suggests an activity for the group to do she has to take 10 minutes beforehand asking spirit if it's okay to proceed.
The other week I got really annoyed by all this and asked her to ask spirit on my behalf if it was okay for me to go and take a dump.
She still won't talk to me.
Anyway, my point is these people do like to feel special. They believe they are spiritual beings who have had the dreadful mis-fortune to find themselves trapped in a physical body, - a kind of spiritual transsexual.
They believe they are above such common human traits as hate and envy and rage and believe they are much more "spiritual" by loving everyone and saying good morning to the daffodils.
What utter bollocks.
We are physical beings with the vast and wonderful array of physical emotions and faults.
Celebrate those emotions and faults and infact revel and enjoy them rather than trying to supress them in order to make you look 'more spiritual'.
If you want to live a life of supressed emotions and fake happiness go and become a bloody Catholic!!! (or join SOS).

I like this forum.
It will have a go at anything and anyone.
Sometimes I find myself telling myself that I am talking B******s
I find it saves the other members having to tell me.
Funny thing is I still put it on the forum anyway.

It is always interesting to see how,people react when their beliefs are brought into question.
A strong reaction shows a weak belief expressed in a forcful manner.
