medium spiritsI have heard someone mention that they think some spirits are mediums and they are the ones that communicate with us...

Mediums are not transmitters. They are receivers. I would love to know how the person reasoned it out.

lol I didn't think it was the case myself but I am open to ideas.. it just doesn't sit that well with me.. and he didn't reason it David he was "given" it...
I think the idea was that there are spirits that receive our messeages much like mediums receive theirs
even when I am "given" something I like to think about it I tend to go with you never know who is giving you these things

Don't we all transmit as well as recieve? Is that not how we interact with everything?
(And back to a conversation ages ago, are we not all everything, and so do not need to transmit / recieve, its just a matter of turning our attention to that part of "us?")

True, but we are talking about mediums who seem to be better at receiving for some reason. Or perhaps they are more aware of what they receive.
It is one thing to know something and another to put it into practice. That is why people sit in circles. The jump from beginner to being at one with the one is not just one easy step for most. It is reached in stages. People who look at this forum for the first time will all be at various stages and so we and so we discuss things at whatever particular stage the discussion is at. That way there is something of interest for everyone.
Having said that I agree totaly with your point of view.

Yes good point .. very good point I liken it to radio waves some have a clearer connection than others .. (at this time for what ever reason)
