MeditationI thought that I would share my meditation from this weeks meeting.
I was asking the question,"what is the self"
I meditated and found myself in a vast cavern, As time progressed I felt the life force flowing through me very strongly indeed. I became aware that that same force was coursing through the walls of the cavern and that the walls of the cavern were just as "alive" as myself.
Then I saw animals running and jumping and again they were experiencing exactly the same thing that I was and I was experiencing the same as they.
All life be it animal vegetable or mineral is made manifest by the one force of what we call life and we who believe ourselves above the stones in the field and the birds and the sea and all of animate and inanimate manifestation are in fact simply one aspect of the same thing.
As I sit at my desk and type this I realise that the desk and I are the same.
That is the only way that I can put it.
My conclusion is that I am nothing but a hologram projected from god knows where and for god knows what reason and so is all about me.
I shall enjoy watching events in my virtual reality and probably never know the true source from which all manifestation springs.

If you see it, it is real.
Would it have existed if you hadn't seen it?
IS the holographic point "David" essential for that creation, as without David there would be no interaction? No experience? No need?
Or was it all there anyway, just made real by and for David for David to experience?

Its all Molecules!
Don't laugh,I'm serious! we are made up of molecules, which vibrate at different speeds and frequencies.
Molecules vibrate because they are packed with energy/spirit. They have the energies of their constituent atoms, but they also have energy from heat. Add heat to molecules and they vibrate faster. The average kinetic energy of molecules, as they vibrate or move from place to place, is measured by something we call temperature. So as we add or subtract heat, the temperature goes up or down respectively.
Over billions of years , the energy kinds and distributions have changed significantly. But the energy level in our universe has remained fixed and some of that energy/spirit is in the vibrations of both molecules and atoms.
We are made of denser ,fast moving molecules, and are considered 'solid';hence we can get damaged easily.
Spirit energy vibrates at a much more different rate, can't be damaged and can go through solid objects as the molecules separate .
In meditation, our vibrations/molecules change to a different frequency, causing all the changes you mentioned in your post,David.
Is this as clear as mud?????

Meiah.
I can only say that from my point of view there is no separation between that which is experienced, and the experiencer.
No separation.
One cannot have existence, what ever that is, without the other.
I see myself as a human being with a solid body and freedom of choice. but in fact It seems to be an illusion.
I feel more like a point of observation with a force running through me which I choose to call the life force.
It seems that life force plus potential equals all.
Perhaps conscious observation is observing itself, the creator.

They, molecules, are the building blocks.
What is the architect?
What power makes them work together to form all that we observe?

Ah! sweet mystery of life...
sometimes I think that we are all living a dream, part and parcel of the other's thoughts intermingling with mind, matter and thought.
Are we real? are we just dreaming?
Lewis Carroll penned the thought in a poem about Alice Pleasance Liddell.
This is the last line;
Ever drifting down the stream-
Lingering in the goldem gleam-
Life, what is it but a dream?

I think Mr Carrol was right on the money.
I think that the paranormal teaches you that the impossible is very possible, and that in turn teaches you that all things are possible.
Our dreams show us that anything is possible because they are consciousness unrestricted by logic.
Logic is a wonderful tool for working out what 2 +2 equals but it is useless when you ask what life is.
We can travel to the Moon but can we know what thought is made of.

Lilly

well, I know the moon is made of cheese,I learnt that in school
|
david hobbs
|
Of course it is and I knew that already too.
So did Apollo go to the cheese or was it all a big hoax.
|
Lilly

I saw Buzz Aldren on an interview, and I do believe Apollo did go to the cheese tho I didn't before.

If you are point of observation, consciously observing, interacting with and experiencing creation...... then why?
|
Lilly
|
Ours is not to reason why!
Who said that anyway?
I want to know too!
My son once said that cats are sent here to watch and observe us,and to report back to base[wherever that may be]
Maybe we ARE here to question; I always want to know why- where and what.Sometimes I have an inner instinct as to what is true;[for me]
What is true for one may not be true for someone else. I believe we are developing-evolving,towards the greater truth or Nirvana; and one day-- maybe- eons in time,we will know most;not all of the answers of why we are here, and what for!
Here endeth the lesson; as I MUST get the ruddy grass cut!!

It seems to me that all life is here simply to further all life.
Perhaps consciously observing life is another level beyond the physical of creating life. Keeping the river flowing.
|
meiah

and perhaps consciously observing life gives multiple perspectives with which to see what has been created and so the creator
|
david hobbs
|
And perhaps enlightenment is seeing from all perspectives at once.
Wouldn't mind that at all.
|
meiah
|
Indeed
I have an inkling that enlightenment is seeing from all perspectives, and needing none.
|
david hobbs
|
Having seen all from all perspectives what else could you possibly need.
Stella ice cold.
Yes.
I'm enlightened.

eek, and now I am itchy!!
The power of suggestion is an incredible example of how the mind affects the body ( off for a bath to wash off the hypothetical fleas)

As you think/believe so it becomes.
As I explained in my meditation description I saw the "river of life" well that is just a way of trying to describe it.
Anyway I visited a friend yesterday and he handed me something he had downloaded and printed from the internet.
It was a description of dying and returning from a cancer patient.
she died and instead of going through the light asked questions and experienced a raising in her copiousness.
Turns out that her experiences bore out my meditation input to the letter.

so did she die???? and how can this be??? :)

No she lived and was totaly free of cancer from the day of the experience.
It can be because that is the way things are.
We are projections, and thought moulds and shapes the experiences of those projections and each experience reinforces the beilief system. It is a self modeled, self designed world that we live in. A projection creating a further projection, and on and on.
Like smoke in a draught each new draught convinces the smoke that it is this or that until in the end it looses sight of the fact that it can be anything any shape having any experience.
