meditation synchronicities?all sorts of people meditate.for various reasons.lately EVERY time i try then something happens........ie i close my eyes and then someone starts drilling next door!
last night i closed my eyes and suddenly a muscle in the front of my thigh started twitching.....(no jokes please dh).which is something i have never had before..........it would seem that i have been shown many esoteric ideas and actions ie shamic journeying and had some really insightful events or messages yet they are all closing down......any ideas why?

Perhaps you need a new challenge.
I find that it is always diffcult to meditate. When something comes in that captures my imagination I seem to wake up again.
Try something new.

I must say, I read this and thought "don't sit there, do something".
Any impulses come to you when this happens? (Apart than to thump the guy drilling next door). If so, do what ever it is.

I have periods where I meditate a few times a day then go from that to a few times a month... it use to frustate me and I would try to mediate but I stopped that when I began to listen to my own body and respond to my own needs not those I thought were needed
what works from e during the periods of not being able to or wanting to do "actual" mediation is I just begin to bond with nature again.... I find doing something outdoors like going to the beach or gardening is often the best meditation for me...... It grounds me and lifts my energy levels.. and taht is what I need most in life
There is no set rule to say we need to sit and meditate it is somethign that can be done in many ways it has a number of forms not just one- perhaps you just need to get active outdoors with your body and let the mind take care of itself for a while

i think the working for money is the best idea!!!!!!
The best things in life are free
But you can keep it for the birds and bees.
Now gimme money (that's what I want)
That's what I want (that's what I want)
That's what I want, ye-ye-yeh,
That's what I want.
Money don't get everything it's true.
What it don't get I can't use.
So gimme money (that's what I want)
A little money (that's what I want)
That's what I want, ye-ye-yeh,
That's what I want.
Yeh gimme money (that's what I want)
A little money (that's what I want)
That's what I want (that's what I want)
So gimme money (that's what I want)
That's what I want, ye-ye-yeh,
That's what I want.
Your lovin' gives me a thrill
But your lovin' don't pay my bills .
Now gimme money (that's what I want)
That's what I want (that's what I want)
That's what I want, ye-ye-yeh,
That's what I want.
Money don't get everything it's true.
What it don't get I can't use.
So gimme money (that's what I want)
A little money (that's what I want)
That's what I want, ye-ye-yeh,
That's what I want.
Yeh gimme money (that's what I want)
A little money (that's what I want)
That's what I want (that's what I want)
So gimme money (that's what I want)
That's what I want, ye-ye-yeh,
That's what I want.

|
billy nomates

i know i wont be a popstar but its not only kids that like music.......
i train with a retired opera singer and he says i should sing opera.......
but i dont like it.......i grew up with the beatles stones hendrix then led zep then punk etc.so it s not my cup of char........

back again.....my own personal view is that i do not really like singers doing covers or 'tribute' bands.........i prefer to write my own songs.i love the feeling of creativity.....i could do pub gigs and get some money but i just dont find it very interesting..........
the live scene doesnt really seem to be happening for anyone over 25.....
i could be wrong but most people seem more interested in spending their leisure time buying excess food in tescos than actually getting out.....
anyway i could be totally wrong......
a couple of years ago i spoke to a producer who thought some of my songs were good.......he had worked with older performers and thought t was down to appealling to a certain age group-not how old the singer was
i suppose there is a market for everything-its just finding it!!!!!!!
being sensible i thought that i could get a trade and then i would be at least able to move abroad.i hate the weather( i like cycling, swimming, golf)
and i reaally do not like the way this country is becoming a nazi/communist state run by egotistical arrogant buttholes!

So, you would like to write and sing your own stuff.
Why don't you?
Have you tried?
|
billy nomates
|
er.i have written loads of songs........i am very critical and i would say that i have maybe 5 that are really good.......others in the pipeline may match or surpass these- i have written about 100 pieces of music that range between 8 bars to complete songs..........
go to www.myspace.com/markmasonmusic
and click on profile if it doesnt play automatically.the quality is only low 128 but u will get an idea.......
i write varied songs........i loved the beatles and pink floyd so i suppose some of my songs are quite catchy and others are rock ,ethereal.........
++++++++++++
meiah since you asked what i would really like to do-
i would really like to shake the world!!!!!!!
imho the way we live is awful.we are barbarians-we trash the planet-its resources-its wildlife-its people
we have an addiction to 'being someone' but we are all nobodies........
useless bags of plasma on a lump of rock .........
all being shitty to each other..........
someone once said to me that life is an exercise in limitation.........
well yes we are limited.we cant fly.we do not have x-ray vision etc
but we dont have to behave in such stupid ways........
why do our lives have to be run by limited ideas?
too old
too fat
bald
too hirsute
too thin
not a team player
too white
too tall
black
too short
all of the human ideas are complete shite!!!!!!
all dreamt up by someone else and then taken as gospel by others.......
+++++++++++++++++++++++
so besides the revolution i would like to be a succesful musician

From what I can understand of music- having been married and divorced to one, it is a hard field to get "into" it takes a few things to make it the main one beign a big break for what ever reason... adn it can be over in a flash so you need a real plan if you want money from music
Music being your passion should it be something you teach... ?? I pay a fortune for my kids to be taught music they are learning drums, guitar, sax, flute, trumpet, key board and singing at this moment... There appears to be big money in it.. I just dished out $800 to the rock music school and $400 to the brass music school.. and that is for one term (there are three in a year )
I have an idea that I would like my son to think about as he grows up- he want to be a muso too.. he has talent but is only just 10 so there is a long way for him to go .... and who knows if he will keep up his interest?
The idea is that he start up a music school where he is the head of the company and a teacher music.. the company would pay young musco to teach under him and his company name.... he could have a number of schools that he works with so that the children are sourced through the school and learn during school time - has two benefits here saves the school the financial resource of having to teach them themselves but gives them the talent of the students... This would grow quickly into summer music school and vacation music school.. and so on.. you just have to start with things like this for them to work
Bascially most parents are like me they pay big dollars for their childrens hobbies beacuse they are sick of toys and rubbish and figure they may as well learn something worthwhile for the money and enjoy themselves at the same time
I think then your music "career" could grow on the side- perhaps you need to look at the dreaded music theatre ...LOL I can hear you moan ...
I think you would find it rewarding to combine your business and music skills and run your own business...
As I alwasy say things dont' fall into your lap they begin wiht an idea and grow from hard work - and or passion
How does that sound Billy?
