Magic Stone From The SkyA few months ago nine year old Muhammad Ponari was playing near his home in the island of Java, Indonesia when lightning struck his play area.
At the same time a stone fell from the sky and Muhammad caught it.
Word quickly spread about the stone from the sky and thousands of people have been flocking to benefit from the stone's presumed magical powers.
Muhammad's uncle Mulyano organised a mass healing event in February at Jombang, east Java.
Muhammed 'dipped' the stone into water then people were encouraged to drink the water in the belief the magical healing properties were tranferred into it.

interesting did no one think it just bounced up form the ground when the lightening struck? How could one catch something falling like that it would perhaps break your hand would it not.... hmm I guess that is a miracle

This shows how religions are born.
I wonder if it is a good or a bad thing.
Let's face it, is it any sillier to believe in magic stones that in god or spirit or anything else come to that.
I think that if you believe a stone is magic then it is. and the same principle applies to all things in life

you are right of course David.. is it good or bad. for these people if it brings faith and hope then it may be just what they are looking for at this time
