Knocks on the door at night.Just a little story here.
For the last 10 months or so, on a fairly regular basis (but no set pattern) I'm woken up during the night (times differ) by a definite knock on the bedroom door.
The knock is loud enough to wake me up and causes me to shout out "who's there ?" thinking it's one of the children.
I honestly can't find any obvious reason such as wood contracting,heat from pipes,or whatever for this knock. Also I am sure it's not anybody in the house knocking at the door.Sometimes it's 1 or 2 knocks . Interesting,maybe it isn't even "paranormal".
Ideas anybody ? Thank you

Have you tried leaving the door open?
Sounds daft I know but it might be interesting to see if something else happens in place of the knock.

Funny you shoudl post this now..its something that wakes me often.. woke me this morning .. and even my youngest heard it opened the front door and no one there.. its always my front door which is kind of behind my bedroom wall.. I find it just annoying

I think I or someone n my house (ie one of the kids) let energies in.. connect with something/one and they knock .. can never be 100% sure so have to go with the old gut feeling Kath

I really need to get used to the idea of trusting my instincts/gut feelings on things.
I'm a bit anal about accuracy and scientific proof on things and I feel sometimes this is a big obstacle where I'm concerned.
This is why this website is so good because people are open to discussion and learn from each other.
