Judgement

We all judge each other.  It may be subconscious but we do it none the less.

I have often judged someone on their appearance only to find that they were nothing at all like my judgement of them.

Is judgement a good or a bad thing.  Or perhaps it is a little of both.
Raymond

A good thing and we should do a lot more of it!!!

When the story broke about Shannon Matthews going missing I said the Mother and her boyfriend had something to do with it, just by the look of them.

Everyone jumped on my back and had a go for being so judgemental.

Once again the fullness of time proved me right.
Bravo

I agree Raymond.  I too thought something wasn't right about them.

I remember being logical to the wife saying something along the lines of 'they've gone through so much, you don't know how you'd react if you were in their shoes so you have to give them the benefit of the doubt'.

You can generally tell a scumbag too.

And living close to a port, I have seen a lot of heroin addicts.  They would not think twice about screwing you over if it helped them get their next fix (their fault or not is a new issue entirely).  You can also smell a heroin addict a mile off, they have their own aroma.

Perhaps their is more than one side to judgement.

One side is obvious.  We have to judge all of the time if a situation is safe for us for instance.  Everyday things like should I talk to this or that person.

This form of judging is vital to out survival and of course very necessary..

Then there is the judgement that comes out of nowhere and you catch yourself reacting to a person before you have even spoken to them.

This must be based on conditioning and habit.

Perhaps it prevents us from getting along in life as well as we might.
swanlady

Its the Herion/drug addicts fault.
They have the option of saying yes or no to the drugs at the beginning.

No Mr. Hobbs it's called common sense. Like Bravo says you can normally tell a scumbag.

I know within 3 seconds of meeting a person if they're a wrong 'un or not.

You want to be psychic? Put the liberal attitude down and start paying attention to your own inner voice.
david hobbs

I did and that is where my last post came from.

I had something really smart to say next and now it's gone.

Ruddy memory.

Where does this inner voice come from exactly.  From experience or just reaction.

Listen to it by all means and then realise that it often talks absolute rubbish.

Problem is by the time I realise it I have pressed the button and the post is on the site.
Raymond

No, no, no. YOU talk absolute rubbish Hobbs.

The inner voice will never lead you far astray and it's the key to being a successful psychic.
If you ignore that inner voice you will never be a psychic.

It's your intuition. It's your direct link to the universe. It's your built in common sense.

No matter how strange I sometimes think my inner voice is I always do as it says.

It is never wrong.

Never.

Sounds like your turning into a tree hugger.

Love and light hun.
Raymond

Some of the tree-hugging stuff is actually common sense.

The inner voice is a good thing Hobbs. Get in touch with it.

Big hugs.
david hobbs

Will do Raymond.

Can't hear a ruddy thing
evergreen

for many it isn't a voice though...  its a feeling or a knowing..

its best to take notice cause if you don't the universe will only tap you so many times before it hits you on the head with a sledge hammer to get your attention
Spirit Realm

For me sometimes is a voice but mostly a feeling that I have a hard time explaining to most people.  I once touched my Sister's right foot and knew from that very moment she would lose her right leg above the knee cap.  She did and man that threw me for a loop but I did not tell her what I felt at the time.  My opinion about Judgment is both good and bad because to me everything has both sides of that coin in it to balance out this old world of ours.
