I was watching a program last night about a Scottish medium (forgotten his name) who claims to be able to link telepathically with small pre speech children.
He fills theatres and halls wherever he goes and women bring their children to find out what is wrong with them etc.

So convinced is this man of his prowess that he took the James Randi million dollar challenge.

When he took the test he failed miserably, as they do.

I have to wonder why people take these challenges because lets face it, James Randi is nobody's fool, and if he gave away the million dollars he would be out of business because once it is shown that there is such a thing as psychism then he will be out of a living and more importantly out of the lime light.

I want to be the best sceptic in the world.

You can make a fortune.

I don't understand why these people need to prove themselves either. I couldn't give a toss if Randi or Mr. Pennis believe me.

I had an interesting conversation on the train the other day. I was sitting reading my book which happened to be about psychic attack.
The man sitting opposite me must have noticed the title of the book because struck up a conversation with me about it.

He announced himself as "belonging" ( once again it sounds like an un-provable belief system ) to the Bad Psychics organisation.
I smiled and said I was part of the 'Good Psychics' organisation.

He went on to tell me that he had made it his life's work to expose fraudulent mediums and sham psychics.
I congratulated him and told him I made it my business to do exactly the same thing.

"But you claim to be a medium" He said with a puzzled expression,
"Yes I do" I replied "But my intentions are for the improvment and continuation of the psychic community and yours are for it's destruction. Now f*ck off and leave me to read in peace!"
