In ReverseAn object in the solar system has been found to be orbiting backwards.
The newly discovered object, named 2008 KV42, lies in the Kuiper Belt, a ring of icy bodies beyond Neptune.
It's orbit is in opposite direction to every planet circling the Sun.
Researchers led by Brett Gladman at The University of British Columbia first spotted the maverick object in May 2008.
Observations suggest it is roughly 30 miles across.
It's orbit appears to have been stable for hundreds of millions of years, but astronomers believe it may have been 'born' elsewhere in the galaxy.
