I don't normally pay a lot of attention to Jade Goody. I really don't have a lot of time for 'celebrities' who are famous for being famous.
I have to say though, I am sickened by the way she is currently flouting her cancer.
Now of course cancer is a terrible thing, and cervical cancer more so but it seems to me it's the best thing that could have happened to her career.
She's in every paper, magazine, she even has a TV show starting soon following her treatment and living with this disease.
I think there's a fine line between celebrities drawing attention to a health cause and using it to make money and Jade crossed that line ages ago.
I fond it extrememly distasteful when these Z-list celebrities flog their illnesses or the illnesses of their children just to make money out of some glossy magazine deal.

No you're not being harsh but you are missing the point a little bit.
Showbiz is solely about money.
It's not the principle it's the money.
Jade whatserface is making money.
She will no doubt have an agent who's sole task in life is to raise her profile. For more money= wages.
And on and on.
And so we the public are exposed to steady diet of garbage which we consume with relish.
And that goes for 99% of media even the news programs.
It is what it's function is.
To titivate and entertain for hard cash.

I don,t think she,s so much being greedy in this case.
I think she,s raking in as much money as she can before her demise to leave for her kids.
I know thats what i woud do if i were her.
Maybe i,m wrong. but thats what i believe anyway.

If I were her, I would try make as much cash as I could to pass on to my kids when I'm gone.
Never liked her though, but don't wish her any harm.

Well If I was her I would focus on getting better and leaving the kids great memories with love and care they will each have their own time to make money and it comes and goes as we can all see.. but love well that can't be bought not for all the gold coins in the ocean would I stand in front of a camera instead of hugging my children and reminding them what life is really about.... for gods sake just because its on telly and everyone watches it doesn't mean its right it just means people are prone to being sheep

Whatever the rights and wrongs, or whatever anyone thinks of Jade as a person, the fact is, she's only 27, she's got 2 little boys, and she's dying. The rest of us might not want to do, or feel comfortable to do what Jade's done by living her life in the spotlight, but I know she's only given the press such free access in order to make as much money as she can to secure her sons' future. I'm sure if any of us were terminally ill, our first worry would be for our children, so I can understand Jade's motivation. Publicity is what she does best, and she's only milking a market that's already there. If it wasn't her, it would be somebody else, whether we like it or not.
It's a horrible, terrifying situation to be in, and all I feel for her is the utmost pity that she's been robbed of her own life by this terrible illness, deprived of the chance to see her sons grow up, and that her sons have been robbed of their mother. And yes, I know that this situation is played out many, many times for other families, and each is an individual tragedy, but if any good can come out of this, it is raising awareness of this awful disease and encouraging many more women to get themselves checked, and so will save more lives.
