I don't live my life that way Evergreen. It is one of the meditation threads from the quickening
The idea is that you look at the deeper meaning, and see what it means to you and your life.
I admit that this is the toughest one for me.

Have I misssed that meditation then.. sorry David I have a revist of the quickening thread.
I'd say that is hard, Somehow David I feel that you have many moments of great awareness far more than most that follow the path of searching- I'm not too sure I'm on thtt path at this moment
I think I lived a life where I treated everyone else like an honoured guest for some time .. for me what I learned was that you must honour yourself before others = how can someone honour you if you do not that that gift to yourself - treat yourself as you would like to be treated

Well smarty pants, you just managed to cover two threads in one post.
These things have a lot more depth though.
As I said before.
I may be lucky enough for half a seconds awarness in six months.
But that awareness stays with you for ever.
Dig deeper.

As if you were in the presence of an honoured guest. This implies to me that you should pay particular attention to the details of your life. When you have a guest you pick up on any sloppy behaviour, perhaps you speak more eloquently, handle items more delicately, etc. But why reserve this behaviour for when there is a guest? We should pay attention to every aspect of our life every task is part of our training. Very 'Nowness' imho.

Hello Tel I must visit your brilliant site soon.
Yes you are getting toward the core of this thread. I can't say much more at the moment because it gives too many clues.
