I ask you...

In the evenings I listen to a radio station called TalkSport. It's a national phone in staton where during the day callers ring up and talk mostly about sport issues but in the evenings the lines are open to talk about absolutely anything.
There is an evening presenter called Mike Graham who has just recently started with the station.
He has ruffled a few feathes of late because of his stance on conspiracy theories. He is completely anti-conspiracy.
He thinks it's all a load of crap and he challenges his listeners to come on the show and show him hard evidence of their beliefs (which they always fail to do I might add).

The other evening I was listening to his show when he read out an email sent to him by one of his listeners. It was as follows:

Dear Mike,
How can you continue to deny the evidence when it's staring you right in the face?
This so called recession/depression has been engineered by the powers that be to bring us all into a one world currency, one world army, in short - a new world order.
Mark the date of this e-mail because in three weeks time we will be in world war three and maybe then you will stop calling us conspiracy theorists.
I hope you and your family are the first to die when the bombs start dropping.

Now I ask you, does that sound like the rant of a sane mind?

Change the context and that could be a religious nut speaking.

Makes you wonder if there's a lot of difference between conspiracy theorists and religious nuts.

Generalising a topic always hides truth and falsehood alike.

If you see three bad mediums on the trot and you know nothing of mediumship do you conclude that all mediums are liars.

And yes the email sounds like the rantings of a lunatic.

Having said that this financial scenario was on some conspiracy sites ages ago.

They may have been intelligently assessing the current crisis or they may have just been lucky.

Now i definately believe in other life forms, as this guy is not of this earth. he has got to be from a different planet!!!!

A recession was likely to happen sooner or later - especially in this country.
We've had over 15 years of 'boom and bust' and 11 years of a Labour government, it was bound to happen.

I've come to the conclusion that conspiracy theorists are exactly like religious nuts.
They will cling onto any shred of flimsy "evidence" to prove their point and demonstrate their beliefs.

The christian will point to the Bible when you ask him for proof, the conspiracy theorist will point to a website when you ask him for proof.

Neither Bible nor website actually prove a thing.

I'm not into these theories however I try to just let others be with it cause they let me be with my psychic/ mediumship  so that is fair enough.. protesting anything too much is too much energy
Raymond

So we're not allowed to have an opinion just be grateful we're "allowed" to be psychic.

Raymond you take things so personally that is me for me I can't be bothered.... I don't care about conspiracy theories...
Raymond

Neither do I EG, I was just making conversation.
K.J

Your right Raymond. No man belief system or 'theory' can hold up....unless it holds some basis in observable fact.
Websites/books/T.V/ Radio/Gossip/Heresay/photographs/videos dont prove a damn thing.
Raymond

Well I'm glad we can agree at last. I'm also glad to see you're using a picture of yourself as an avatar too.
K.J

I only posted my photograph cos I know you fancy me.
Raymond

Oh I do! I'm wet at the thought.

Get out the bath then Raymond, and you'll be otherwise my friend  Big Grin

I think that the Dr Steven Greer's disclosure project is worth watching.

A whole series of people testifying about personal experiences within military and  government.

Thing is you do have to watch it and listen to what these first hand accounts are telling you.

Or you may just think, "don't show me the evidence my mind is made up"

Or perhaps this long line of witnesses are all just deluded.
Raymond

I've said it before Mr. Hobbs and I will say it again. I am more than willing to see this evidence - just so long as it is evidence.

I am not prepared to sit through endless clips on YouTube or read endless rants on websites. That is not evidence, that's just someone's opinion.

If there is anything out there where somebody has come forward and actually said "I was part of the illumanti..." or "I worked at at area 51...." or "I helped organise 9/11..." and they are willing to tell thier story and back it up with solid proof, then I will listen.
david hobbs

Then take a look at the disclosure project.

These are first hand accounts.

Not all conspiracy is about Illuminati.

I find a lot of that stuff a bit rich quite frankly.

It's like everything else.

You have to sort the wheat from the chaff.
