hope at last..........the quickening is amongst other systems supposed to help one attain enlightenment........why am i not enlightened? its been driving me nuts!!!!!
do this,dont do that,be self-less, surrender...........it is enough to make you ill..(and has)............now at last i have found some relief.......
i came across some kabbalah essays and a famous teacher said that people cannot attain enlightenment for 24 hours a day otherwise they would no longer be human!
without wishing to be confrontational this is what i told the author of the quickening some years ago....
so i can at last get some sleep tonight.................

Agree totally.
studie qabbalah for years... decades now. Always learning.
Enlightening is knowing what you are nmot, and that is hard because people don't like to be told what they see as them is false.

I said this a while back, and was asked "so what is Human?". Stll trying to figure that one out :D

I had some vague notion that real enlightenment came along with a dissappearance of the physical self..... just my take on it..
