The first impression was Joke. Don't have a clue why.

I feel that this place has connections with a high ranking lady. I see her dresses in what I call crinoline (wrong spelling) dress and large wig.

Possibly royal connections and she has a son who would grow up into a position of very high power.

She would have been a great influence on him.

I also feel danger to this family some way off in their future from rebellion or civil war.

On the other hand I could be talking complete rubbish

Can't help thinking this is a folly (it looks too big for that, but does not feel like the main house). Used as a retreat, a peaceful spot. For illicit meetings?

I saw the image of a cross, so maybe some sort of religious connection?

but..then Big Ben came to mind...no idea why.. maybe government or parliament connection? Lots of buts and maybe's here.

I never have the confidence to trust what I get..still cant get over the idea that they are just random thoughts.

The place is called Lyveden New Bield near Oundel, Northamptonshire. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyveden_New_Bield

It is the unfinished secret house of Thomas Tresham who owned a considerable amount of land and property. He also had connections to Queen Elizabeth I http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Tresham_II

The house has "a religious design and is full of symbolism", and is built in the shape of a Greek cross. Thomas Tresham was imprisoned for 15years due to his devotion to the Catholic faith!

Mel D the Big Ben/ parliament connection is very good! Thomas's son was Francis Tresham the conspirator of the Gun Powder Plot to blow up parliament. It is said that he used Lyveden as a hide out whilst on the run.

The house played scene to the civil war between the Cavaliers and the Roundheads, although it is not well documented. The house shows evidence of this with holes in the wall from the musket shots.

Rosie done an investigation here and said that it has been the most active place she has ever visited. She said that it was actually more active in the grounds than it was in the house, she even saw an apparition of a musketeer looking man! The best thing about the whole investigation was that no one was told anything about it until the next day.

She wonders if it was so active due to the lack of investigations that have been done there or perhaps because she was doing meditation and development exercises for most of the day prior to going. Yet even though she experienced clear clareaudience on that day she has not been able to replicate it since.
