herbs for protectionAnyone know if yarrow is a good herb for protection for a psychic ... or anyone for that matter I guess but mainly from psychic attach or draining energy I suppose
I have this urge to drink yarro tea lots lately...
anyway there is lots of yarrow growing in my yard and of late I can' get enough of it to drink. I feel like my energy is clearer than it has been for sometime and was wondering if there could be a connection? Anyone know these things?

You make me smile EG
You are sooooooo meant to be a Witch!!! LOL!!!
Just to prove I'm not making all this up to just to make you feel good about yourself I will open my 'Encyclopedia Of Magickal Herbs' and repeat for you what it says about Yarrow:
When worn, Yarrow protects the wearer, and when held in the hand it stops all fear and grants courage.
A bunch of dried Yarrow hung over the bed will induce psychic dreams.
Yarrow used in wedding decorations will ensure a long and happy marriage.
Yarrow may also be used in love spells.
Carrying Yarrow not only brings love but can also atract friends and distant relations you wish to contact as it draws the attention of those you wish to see.
The flowers can be made into an infusion and the resulting tea is drunk to increase and improve psychic powers.
Washing the hair with Yarrow will prevent baldness but will not cure it if it has already begun.
Yarrow is also used to exorcise evil and clear negativity from a person, place or thing.

oh mark now you are freaking me out....LOL
*She screams oh no*
dear me he isnt the one I am so interested in but he tends to be the one I think I will end up with ...
he is a friend and I can't help but think he ex-wife is still way too interested in him and that scares me away big time.... I so want you to say it is the PI fellow he doesnt' have as much baggage but when I think of it they are the same age, same colour hair, name beings with the same letter "gulp"... but this tree lopping fellow has many more kids than the PI so is far more complicated
anyone else want to know any more of my intimate secret desires LOL

Raymond I'm an open book - just look at my posts
Just thought I'd let you know I have just planted some yarrow on all sides of my house-
now I am going to ask what may be a stupid question is there any reaosn Raymond why I felt the need to plant it in even numbers and also in a circle... or am I just slightly austic in nature

I don't think there's any relevence to planting things in odd or even numbers however planting things in a circle is very, very good because what you have created is a fairy ring.
Fairies love to dance in a circle of flowers - they like nothing better and anybody who does anything to please the fey folk really will be rewarded however as with all fairylore there is a downside.
Stepping inside a fairy ring is bad, bad news - nothing angers them more, so be careful not to plant to many fairy rings as you won't be able to walk around your garden.
If you're going to create fairy rings it's best to keep them fairly small (slightly bigger than a dinner plate) and in a place in the garden that doesn't have to much human traffic.
P.S. - There's no such thing as a stupid question. Well, there is, but not if it's a genuine question.

Don't be silly, I like answering questions and if I don't know the answer I enjoy finding it even more.
