It makes all of your plants grow. It helps Alan Tichmarsh in his gardening programs. It cuts your grass.

Simple.

I honestly dont know.. do we have guardian angels?..

I didnt' believe in angels at all until I went to do some work with a young boy who was having some trouble and I calle din helpers and strike me dumb a huge golden figure appeared before me and then spread wings... I never say I dont 'believe now...LOL never say never

I think we are surronded by a number of energies the protect and guide us

I have met lot's of people who claim to have guardian angels.

I want to know when the idea of Angels first came into being.

Why do they have wings. Do they need them.

I think it is the self talking to the self.

Is a guardian angel the same as a warning voice or connected to premonition of danger.

I don't ask that question any more I just let it be... it doesn't matter anyway..

If peopel think they have them let them think that doesn'at hurt anyone and lord knows maybe they do have one .. I wouldn't say I did although I know I am very protected

I'd go with that too. Often with talking to God, relying on Angels etc I wonder if is the power of thought that brings about the desired result???

Does viewing your self as something else, an angel, God, whatever, disempower you?

How can it?
meiah

To disassociate yourself from your self, to credit someone / something else with whatever wisdom / guidance it gives also gives responsibility to that other entity. To do that, would you find it within yourself?
If you are one with your self, would you need to visualise yourself as something other / wiser / better?

I take the view that all is self whatever form it takes. I see the need for stripping away the layers of the onion but if you truly know yourself does it matter if you see yourself as an angel or a stone.

I never did get the disempowering thing.

Then again I don't feel disempowered.

Dammit I understand so little.

Can you explain more about dissimpowerment.

Humour me
meiah

Humour you? Hmmmmm........

If you truly know yourself, why would you need to create a construct such as an angel to recieve wisdom or guidance from?

To me, disempowerment is when you do not take responsibility for yourself, you hand it to someone / something else.
I can't do that because so-and-so won't like it.
Fred told me I will never be able to do that.
Jo always does this for me.

Oh, thats why I don't feel or understand dissempowerment then.

You live and learn.
meiah

I do not regret having experienced it, and so now not to need to do so.

However, I am not beyond needing a bit of guidance now and then :D

I live and learn
