Yes Swanny but out of need rather than conviction.
Your family returned to whence they came as we all will. Energy that reforms and reforms again. In fact you could say that they never went anywhere because they are in FACT still here but in a different state of existence as you and I will be one day.
Why do you need a God when you can see in Nature what happens to all matter?

Yes it is out of need.

If you check the source of your need then you find it has nothing to do with God.

I'm going a bit off thread here,as Swanny has just answered my question. So you lost babies? they are not 'lost' merely as Dave said gone back to some other realm. Now what I am getting at is,in the spirit in my house thread-have you never thought that this young spirit is one of your own babies?,now grown.
Back to current thread; I believe not in a wizard of Oz type God,or an old friendly father on a throne surveying us all. My belief is that there is an almighty power,I can't think of a stronger word, that made the universe, the planets, every living thing that breathes, and doesn't breathe,as in the minerals, rocks, etc.that make up this amazing infinite atmosphere that we were born into, and are part of this great power
To me,God is the power station,we are the waves,or the overselves, without one another, neither could function.
