Maybe you should go on x-factor Billy. With some of the crap that's parading as talent on there this year you might do alright.
At least you'd get to meet the lovely Dannii Minogue.

i did go about 3 years ago. at wembley..........just for the experience as i wasnt as good as i am now..........
as with most things on tv it is all a sham..........
i went into a room with two of the shows producers..i sang 'somethings got a hold on my heart.'.the lady judge liked it but the man said 'it want what they were looking for'............as they are making a tv show they have a list of 'types'.........the loonies, the granny, the sob story etc..........
i really didnt expect anything.the contract is strangely one sided where simon cowell gets 90% of any money you make i seem to remember!
i have written loads of songs myself but i need to earn money so singing in bars and pubs is an excellent way to get my singing 'chops'........
and it is really great fun and very nice when people come up after and say that they enjoyed it..........it makes a nice change from when iused to work in the city and the bosses would always moan no matter how much money i made.........

I can relate to that actually. About 5-6 years ago I auditioned to go on Big Brother.
I got quite far in the process, I got down to the last 30 and one of the production team actually "advised" me to be a bit more camp.
He told me that they hadn't had a very camp gay man on there for some time and the producers were looking for a very effeminate man that year.
I soon realised they had a list of 'types' so I pulled out.
Now don't get me wrong, I can camp it up with the best of them but ordinarily I'm not all that camp.
I didn't think I would be able to do high camp from morning to night for 13 weeks.

Bloody hell we've only known each other about a month!
Like I said to Taz the other day, I'm like a delicate little flower. The longer you watch the more will be revealed.
|
Taz
|
Yes, you did: Scott, he only opens up his petals a bit at a time. Crikey, I've only just found out that Raymond is gay, all this time I thought he was just shy with an eclectic taste in music and good skin care routines!
LOL

Ooooooh Taz,
You've had your Weetabix today haven't you?
