Tis a genuine video, and the original poster of it (MoM) I know quite well, she is in her 70's and a hoaxer she aint.

If genuine and i have no reason to doubt you it is an interesting film.
It would be inpossible to prove there was no one there though.

I hope she had her mouth washed out with a bar of soap afterwards!!

Well it it does have an odd feel to it.  Same old problem though.  It might be 100% genuine, but proving it is impossible.  Perhaps a photographic expert could shed some light.

Bravo knows these people and trusts them so for me that takes it past the 50/50 in favour stage.

Does anyone pick up anything psychicly from these pictures?

As far as your technical question goes, we have come up with the following:-

    1. So far we have discounted 'ghosting' (in the technical sense) on the picture.  
    2. On a modern mobile phone, a double exposure just doesn't happen.
    3. A mirror reflection has also been discounted as the facial features don't match either girl.

I have known the originators of this a couple of years or so, I have found them to be intelligent people (MoM is CaptLockheeds mother, she in her 70's, he in his 50's [I think]).  They have never attempted any kind of hoax, their postings have always been constructive and intelligent, indeed MoM is probably one of the wisest people I have ever met, it is her that taught me to 'feed my soul'.  So if it came down to it, I would stand up and stake my reputation on their word, and there aint many people I would say that for.

This of course does not count the possibility that they have been duped, perhaps by the girls (who do seem to be somewhat mischievous to say the least), but I don't think so for two reasons:

1. I was offered the original 3gp file by Capt (who has seen it himself), to edit this would be exceptionally hard, and almost impossible for girls of this age.
2. The behaviour of the girls.  If they wanted to make this as a hoax, I am sure they would not have used such language, as I do know they did indeed land in a good degree of trouble for it.

Logic tells me it is a genuine video, either that, or some phenomenon of lighting or somesuch has created a freakishly human looking shadow.

Just watched this clip and my instincts are telling me the girl in the clip (the alive girl) has a spirit attachment.
This would certainly explain her outrageous behaviour and I suggest she is taken to a reputable medium who has experience with removing attachments from children.

all I can say is I feel sick .. the skin tone of the "child" is familar to those I see.. looks pretty real to me... but I'm not tuning in David.. I'll keep popping back to see if I get anything other than sick in the stomach when I see this

This is interesting.... I thought it may have been a mate of hers behind her, but as evergreen states, the skin tone is different of that of hers and the friend that is with her.... also the hairstyle and dress... notice the expressions also...

I like Raymond know a medium that has had experience with removing attachements from teenagers.... What an interesting clip, thank you for sharing it with us Bravo.

I can confirm that the file was in 3gp format, 176x144 pixels in size and 25.00 frames per second. There was no data or information attached to the file itself, but upon checking with my own video files in 3gp format, they exhibited the same problem, however using a variety of software I was able to confirm the above. The file that Captain sent was named 'the_ghost.3gp', this may have been renamed at some stage for identification purposes either on the original phone or after download.

Due to time restraints I haven't been able to do much in the way of screen shots but I have included two below. After converting and importing the video into Adobe Premier 2, I exported the video as individual frames and removed the frames without the ‘ghost image’. I then examined each remaining frame (52 in total) for any signs of composite layering, conflicting pixilation or contamination from some other electronic source.

One of the most significant things I first noticed was in 'sequence 01010.tif' (images below). This frame only appeared once. You will notice that the whole image is motion blurred probably due to camera shake. This frame alone gives the impression that whatever was filmed was physically there at the time. All elements of this image are consistently blurred an equal distance apart. I was unsure if I had inadvertently created this image when converting the video, however I changed the frame rate during conversion and this frame still appeared.

In conclusion I couldn’t find any obvious sign of fakery. It appears whatever was filmed was present at the time. Of course it is possible to produce this sort of thing with a bit of know how, time and effort, especially with the lower quality of mobile phone technology however, you have to ask for what purpose? Whatever the anomaly is in the video it appears to be animated and interacts with the girl rather than remain static, however this is beyond the scope of my investigation.

When you see the frames broken down and adjusted for brightness and contrast the video itself appears even scarier.

It could be someone behind her and could be motion blur by the other girl shaking her head causing her face to become distorted.
