DREAM or ASTRAL or NEITHERI am not sure where to put this but it fits with sleep and dreams in some way.. although I have a feeling someone is going to mention astral travel here......
I was in bed this morning just before 4am and I heard my front door open it woke me up and It thought it was one of my children letting the dog out I called out to them to see if they were ok and there was no answer I heard the door close and jumped out of bed to check that everything was okay.. Before I got to the bedroom door my mobile telephone rang and it was a friend who recently moved to Sydney he had sent me a text message saying he wanted to talk and was thinking of me and he text me before he went to work...
So my question is was it him opening the door??? was it a coincidence.. there are none right :) do you think that when someone is thinking of you they can be there with you... this is a normal things with us and yet I know it is not common for all people.
Was it just that fact that psychically I knew he was going to phone??
Any thoughts? oh and Bravo I am sure there is some electrical explanation I have not thought of that I would love to hear :D

There is the other possibility. Something somewhere wants you to be together.
We cannot assume that it is always we that make things happen.

can you elaborate on taht for me DAvid... please just an area I know very little about I do know I am astraling lots and that isnt' knew with me but my knowledge/understanding of it is certainly very small.
Do you think it is the bigger picture that is attempting to tell us we should be together.. would have been nice is we had have been born in the same decade  that whole life plan thing???

okay back to this again.. I have now had this happen four mornings in a row... I no longer jump out of bed thinking someone is at the door though... the main difference is that thephone hasn't rang....
I am going back to my original thoughts that is may have something to do with my daughter.... perhaps her energy?? I am not sure but she has just turned eleven I wonder if I am heading for another episode with energy in this house..??

today is the first day that the door hasnt' opened.. well seemed to have opened.. but instead I dreamed of being stabbed to death a few times

I feel that our lives are not our own in quite the way that we think they are. Imagine that you have just lost your head and yet you can still see.
Where do you end. Is it where your head was or is it as far as you can see.
Perhaps as far as you can see is you, and you are making your life.

ok well I do dream of leaving my body and going far away to other place all the time....
yes this is astral travel.. so who makes me do that it is the spirit yes? and isnt' spirit me anyway? I guess I have ta meditate and find the answers

Let's establish what Astral travel is.
My understanding is that it is the ability to"leave"your present physical location and consciously travel to another place. This to me is only valid if you can prove what was happening in that other place at the time you Astral Traveled.
I don't think that sleep state can count unless you can again show evidence of being at another place ant the same time that your physical body was in another location.
I have met many who claim to Astral Travel but when put to the test I only ever new one person who could do it.

Okay Well I know that I have seen what others are doing very clearly when I choose to go and have a look... and they have confirmed for me what I have seen them doing....

There then. You just answered your own question You Astral Travel.
Sometimes I think that you doubt your own proven abilities.
How do you travel, is it by accident or design, and how does it look and feel.
Sorry about all the questions I am always wanting to learn.

It feels as though I am there David.. Sometimes I am able to do it by asking (rarely do I ask though) before I go to sleep, more often than not it just happens... usually in the morning I feel as though I haven't really slept ...
I can see the place where I go to the people that are there and what they are thinking and feeling ... it feels very real.. often the other person is asleep and I can see their dream.. strange eh?
I have seen my son astrally while I was still awake... that was an interesting experience to say the least...

okay... well I haven't long known that is what I do... Here is one experience I have had validated by another person
A friend asked me to try to met up with him and I tried during my sleep I remember leaving the house an traveling over water and then I was looking at him he was laying on a carpeted red floor the light was red and he was asleep. I knew he coundn't see me some how. There were other people in the room all were asleep in their seats. He was the only one on the floor.I walked over to the huge window the moon was up and the ocean was rather clear I could see the white water fro the back of the ship. He was on a huge ship. He was laying asleep between the chairs in the alise I called him a few times and couldn't wake him up then I knew he was dreaming.
Then some how I saw his dream, he was talking to a woman in her early twenties it was emotional I knew she was passed over and that she had died of suicide. they were unaware of me some how.
Then I was once again watching him sleep and I left I returned home looked in on the kids and then myself and then went back to my self.
That is one experience. Does it sound astral to you? See I find remote viewing is something I can do if I try so I have wondered if they are connected???
Oh, and the next day I told him about my dream and he said that is exactly what happened the red light was the glow in the cabin he was asleep on the floor between the seats. He was dreaming about that woman. Everything I had seen was there. The big window the moon the carpet the other people. kind of shocked me...

It sounds Astral to me.
I would think that remote viewing and Astral travel must be similar if not the same.
At the end of the day we can get bogged down with terminology.
What interests me is how it happens. Also does it show that we are not restricted to the physical body.
I also find it fascinating that you could see his dream.
Any ideas anyone?

yeah that one was surprising too... I have done it more than once with him rather strange 
but on the other hand my eldest daughter and I have shared the same dreams since she was old enough to tell me (at around 2 years I think) I remember the first time she told me I was rather shocked... is this common.... ?

I don't know about sharing dreams but I know that you can see what other people are meditating on within circle conditions. I mean see with the non physical eyes of course.
I don't see any difference between that and seeing their dreams if you are close to them.
