well Raymond that was magical,so amazing to read like poetry,i love these little stories, they mean so much and i thank you for taking the time to share this with us ,you was privileged to no such a lady ,i think she loved you so much ,i do wonder about the animals and lady in white that you saw ,what was they doing ?and why?wonderful indeed.i have met some mediums ,one lady i sat with in her home ,she is about 60 ish,and i immediately got stuff to do with her and her life ,we then talked about her as she does readings as a job ,and i asked her about how she developed as a medium ,what assistance she had etc ,and she had none ,didn't go to spiritualist church or had help with any development ,ie interpreting symbols etc ,she just said to me she would sit down and the messages she was to give were just there ,no closing down none of this modern day stuff that i have seen where people grab some angel cards and think they are mediums ,some of the best mediums out there are the ones who "just know",these colourful characters fascinate me ,as does your little story ,thanks Raymond

I love that story. Raymond she is fascinating
what a grand Dame...
do you think it runs in families......????
It sound like what I put my poor mum through day after day ... she never understood how I knew about her day when I wasn't there with her... but I always knew and never actually understood what the big deal was...

i have heard the theory that psychic ability is also a racial thing.
apparently the Jewish and the celtic races are noted for their abilities.

Mark - thanks, and you're welcome. I am in such a reflective mood lately. I just want to tell stories. How odd. I have no idea who the white lady was. I never saw her again after that night. I've told lots of people of the white lady and her animals many times over the years. Explainations have ranged from a mad woman, a ghost, and elemental, a manifestation of some kind of goddess that was worshipped in that area long ago, to me and my Nan somehow sharing a dream.
Who knows? But I can see the whole thing as clearly now in my mind as I did that night all those years ago.
E.G. - Again, I don't know if it runs in families. Like everything else under the 'supernatural' banner, most things are left up to personal opinion.
Hobbs - Well my Nan was of Scottish stock but I don't hold with the idea that some race of people are more psychic than other races of people. I have met very good psychic people from all walks of life. Having said that though, I once met a Hindu psychic who literally knocked my socks of. Ram Patel his name was. Wow! There was no hiding place from Mr. Patel.

If you had the presence of mind to ask his middle names they would have probably been Patrick Issac patel.
Obvious really.

Oh Hobbs, you are a one.

We are that which is passed on in our genes.
I think that psychic ability is just the way some people are born and therefore yes it does run in families.

Like I said, I'll be keeping a close eye on my nephew over the coming years.
He certainly does show some promise.
Obviuosly I won't pressure him into anything but I'd like him to know that somebody is around to answer his questions like my nan was for me.

It's good to see the future and young people help us see it.
Perhaps that is what growing older is all about.
Not that you are old Raymond

Perish the thought.

being Irish I hear it a lot that we are more psychic im not sure about that my Granny who I am the spitting image of is a Scott...
Raymond i am finding it great learning curve having psychic kids... i learn via them all the time they tell me what they see and what their experiences are its novel to hear a child tell you their predictions lol but its great they are not in the dark

There's a lot to learn from kids actually.
When my nephew comes out with things I sometimes say to him "How did you know that?" and his reply is always the same "Dunno".
And that's it. The moment has gone.
Psychic kids don't question what they do. They don't analyze every little fart to an ounce of their abilities, they don't put it in a box and stick a label on it. They don't try and have all the answers or appear clever or witty. They don't make conversation about it, they don't use it as a weapon or a tool.
It just IS.
I think we could all learn a lot from them.

Thankyou Mark. While I'm in this reflective mood I'll be posting more of these stories - who knows how long it will last?
I don't expect everyone to read all my ramblings but if you do that's fine.
All of my stories are true. The only thing I will change are the names because it's not fair to use the real name of a living person without their permission - except for my Nan of course, everybody called her Nanny May.

Yes keep them coming Raymond it's great to see things on here that you would not find on other sites.
We must feel comfortable to do that.

Well i know next to nothing about my family at all, never really knew my parents apart from knowing my dads dad came from Ascension islands.
My mum does not know what i do and in any case is a Christian and who until recently played the organ in the church her foster mum was a poet from Scotland,i have one of her books she had printed once.
That said Morgan my younger son who i believe has been termed a Indigo
child by some folk may indeed in time want to follow the spiritual paths etc,he is ADHD and sees things in a complete different way to everyone else.
