Does every day seem the sameDoes every day seem the same
With no end in sight?
You work, you sleep,
Fatigue is deep,
All days seem the same
When did this phase of life begin
Was it with an illness
The stress, or strife,
Or loss of life
Of friends or kith and kin?
This is the time we all endure
Our walk in the wilderness
We’re lost, we mope
We are out of hope
Our lives seem so unsure.
The sparkle out of life has gone
Our creative spells run dry
We cry, we weep,
We want to sleep
To escape our life here-on.
To get back on course and feel alive
Our memory’s we must use
Of laughter, love,
And all things good
From the past we must revive.
