Do you feel stuckI often feel that although it is good to have a template to work too in life such as a certain set of religious beliefs and rules.
Having said that are you stuck in yours. Am I stuck in mine.
You will know if you are stuck because you will have a strong and enduring sense of something missing in your spiritual life.
This feeling is one that I have witnessed with many people who are, like we folks on here, on a path.
How do you break the pattern of your life? How do you move on..
Discuss please.
Are you stuck?

I can relate to that.
I do things now that not so many years ago filled me with excitement, now the same things feel more like a chore.
Trouble is, I've no idea how to move forward either.

When you get to the stage of feeling that way Raymond. Then it is time to look for something new that interests you.

Well just as I thought I was stuck things have changed.
The recent cases that I have been involved in seem to have shifted from ghosts to elemental energies.
Now I have to think in a new way.
I have been involved with this before but not for many years.
Keeps me on my toes

I make huge changes when I feel stuck... it often takes me some time to make them but they always seem to be huge
Its tricky to give others advice about how to get unstuck all you can do is say what you know has worked for you or others you know..... -I start to look for signs things I may not have been interested in that come up again and again and I try to leave myself open to new things and changes ..
I think I have a habit of self limiting and I'd like to break that habit I wonder if you are doing that Raymond- do you not think that you shall be running your own business this year? I think perhaps change is on the door step just waiting for the right moment for you... I'm not very patient for things to change but I find that it is usually best to let it unfold one step at a time for often timing is everything

Actually Eg I was planning to start my own business this year but what with the surgery coming up and the credit crunch it's taken a bit of a back burner for a while.
But I will do it. One day.

I really can't see where my life is going at this point.
It's taken several years to get where I am now and I feel like the new start I had been given last year is now gone and I'm floundering again.

The thing is that it is so easy to say to someone"if you feel stuck do something else.
When you get stuck on your path you are the last person to know what to do.
I always liken it to looking in a mirror with your nose pressed against the glass.
You are too close to see anything.
I feel that when you are stuck you need guidance from people who have been where you are now.
Perhaps that is the value of forums such as this one.
We have a very wide range of experiences on here gained over many lifetime.

I was stuck with the school and the twins. but now i,m forging ahead.
At the moment i,m in the process of starting up a support group for parents with home schooled children.
Theres nothing in my area, but there are a few home schooled kids.
I,m looking for a community room free twice a week.
Then i want to arrange educational trips once a month.
Swimming once a week.
My heads swimming with ideas, but takes time ,as schooling the twins as well.

Yep. And so change something small. Insignificant. That you almost won't notice. Its the movement that is important, and that the chang eis one that you want. Even if it is empty your wardrobe of stuff you don't want to make room for what you do want.

There is something liberating about clearing out old stuff. The things that you thought you needed but somehow never used.
I do it about once a year.
Also as Meiah indicates, it is a way of telling your inner self that you are making room for the new.
Excellent thing to do.

I was saying the same thing the other day, that I needed to do a good clearout as I'm feel I have to be ready for whats coming, whatever it may be, but I need to make room for it first... I will clear out anything that I don't want or use. Whether this is symbolic of a spiritual clearout I don't know but I do think it helps you to think more clearly and I know I will feel a lot lighter.

Yes the problem is that we cling on to things for dear life without even realising that we are doing it.
I think it is good to get rid of old ideas and possessions that are redundant and make room for the new.
he Spiritualists say that to fill a glass you must first empty it.
I make that true.

Well stick around and let us know what is going on with you and you might just get some inspiration.
But at the end of the day you must ask yourself, am I stuck or am I just not paying attention.

Maybe i did just stop paying attention, its not a massive part of my life like it used to be, just an interest now. But i do feel like theres something missing, maybe i should join those pesky jehovas and get converting.
Atheist looking for God.
