DemonsDemons are for ever
For ever for ever
But then for ever is only the span of our lives.

In your opinion Hobbs, what is a Demon?

this has come up for me many times this week... I'd love some input from others

It's one of those subjects where we're never going to all agree, so let's kick this one of with each of us giving our own opinions first.

Some I feel are manifestations of human kinds darker, and more hateful side.

I'm in agreement with that.... I think they are there perhaps when we allow the darkness in us to become greater than the light like when our negative emotions are so strong we are living in constant anger or hatred

why do you think people often see them as attachments ?

i have seen many "demons",or what appears to be a demon ,i believe we can see them at times as they wish to be seen, and they are from a different dimension ,and i believe they want us to fear them and this is how they get there power, they seem to like bedrooms for some reason
i also think we have a type of demon within us that can at times project fear for some reason ,and is there to show us some inner fear ,which of course we need to overcome ,And its there for this reason
i do wonder why at times these creatures that arent human show as being partially human ,which is a possible clue
as for seeing these as attachments i believe that if there is a demon type attachment then this would be extremely hard to remove ,as the person who has the attachment must have initially been very down or had a addiction or mentally not well, and to help this person would be very hard as there strength and auric field would need help in building up and there mental state asessed,a demonic attachment would be very worrying .....

Demons could be many things, Evil things attached to us, or maybe those who walk a different path, they're good things, like angels.

Could you take away the word "demon" and explain to me what this is?

When I hear the word "demon" I have an emotional type fear reaction, which is getting in my way.
So, without using the word "demon", what are we really talking about, please?

The part of our self that we fear.
Without us the demon would not exist.
Perhaps life is about overcoming demons and we have changed that into religious nonsense.

Oh, OK.
Why fear part of yourself?

There is much about yourself to fear - if you're truly in touch with yourself.
Explore your darker side and you'll find a lot to fear.

The wedge between the worlds?

Seems to me that often our greatest weaknesses are also our greatest strengths. That those aspects of ourselves which we fear have so much to show us.
Why lock them away until they become something dreadful? Why not explore them and know them, and welcome them?
Good and bad are concepts, fear is denial. Who wants that?
