Decent WitchWe could do with a decent witch on this forum to liven up this section

The practice of Wicca and Witchcraft are very similar, however there are a number of noticable differences.
The differences being that most Wiccans follow the teachings of Dr. Gerald Gardner who was the founder of Wicca (or one of his followers).
Wiccans tend to group themselves under titles and hierachy whereas Witches usually work solitary and if they do work in groups they work as a group of individuals without the need of titles and hierachy.
Wiccans tend to follow a fairly strict code of conduct whereas Witches usually do their own thing.
Wiccans generally like to have ceremonies for everything and many of them believe one isn't a Wiccan unless you have been initiated by another Wiccan, Witches have similar ceremonies but they are far less structured and don't have as much emphasis put on them. Wiccans also have degrees of initiation (First degree, Second degree, and so on...) and after each degree has been achieved some secret knowledge or wisdom is passed on to them. Witches usually have just one initiation ceremony and everything after that comes with experience.
Wiccans usually follow a very structured Wiccan tradition (Gardnerian, Alexandrian, Dianic, Seax, to name but a few...) Witches generally don't bother with such things and follow a more eclectic path.
